As a result, I'd call it a success. I'm not sure what kind of voodoo was used to make this box, but it is truly nonstick. br>I have a cat in my house (thank you, Kids). She's sluggish, overweight (despite having been on a strict diet for a year), and enjoys making her point by urinating on the floor in front of her television. My once-a-day efforts to clean her other litter box were apparently insufficient. She doesn't like enclosed boxes, and she doesn't like self-cleaning boxes either. It's an understatement to say I was annoyed by her behavior. br>So I bought this gem and a litter genie so that I could clean up after her several times a day, and she hasn't terrorized anyone since. I'm less enamored of her. I don't have to clean her turds off the floor or smell them anymore, so it appears that we share the same sentiment. We've agreed to an uneasy truce for the time being.
skillet with a stick! I work as a veterinarian and live with 9 cats. In my boxes, I use a biodegradable clumping litter. I've always had issues with wet litter sticking to the bottom of the litter box in the past. Even though I cleaned all of my boxes twice a day, the issue of stuck litter persisted. This is the first litter box I've ever used that doesn't stick to the floor. It's truly incredible. It's as if there's no such thing as a non-profit organization. a nonstick skillet Nothing sticks to the bottom of the box because the clumped litter on the bottom slides right onto the litter scoop. The box also has nice high sides that help prevent litter from being thrown out too much. I would strongly recommend this litter box as a professional who knows a thing or two about litter boxes. It's also made of tough materials, and the non-slip surface is a plus. It's brilliant to use stick coating. I'm surprised no one else has thought of this!.
I have a 10-year-old male cat who weighs 18 pounds. My cat is a digger, so he digs a hole, does his business, and then buries it. I needed a new litter box and was drawn to the high sides on this one. He also likes to pee on the side of the box, which was a problem with my previous litter box (and one of the reasons I went shopping for a new one). br>br>This box cost a little more than I anticipated, but due to the build thickness of the actual sides/bottom of the box, I expect it to last as long as three of my previous boxes purchased from a local pet store. This saves money in the long run. br>br>Since the beginning, the clumping litter has stuck to the sides and bottom of the box. I'm not sure what this box is coated with, but I want to thank whoever came up with the idea of coating the box! My scooper glides across the bottom with ease, making cleaning a breeze. Since using this box, I haven't had any sticky sides/bottoms or small clumps to sift through. I wish the same could be said about my scooper! I'll be on the lookout for a scooper made from the same materials as this one. br>br>Update after 2 months - This litter box is still one of my favorites (as much as a litter box can be loved). There isn't a single blemish on this. I used to have to scrape the box every month because I use clumping litter and my cat likes to dig. I've been using it for a few months now, and nothing sticks to it. br>br>It's still a strong recommendation.
As a result, finding a litter box setup that they can "agree on" has been particularly difficult. "br>br>I've always bought the standard litter boxes that you can find at the grocery store or Petco/Petsmart; there's nothing wrong with them, but recently, as I was about to replace the box (I do so about every 3-months), I noticed something unusual. I went to Amazon to see what I could find (I'd been searching for 6 months). This litter box was the result of a lengthy search. br>br>I was hesitant to invest in a cat waste receptical because of the cost. Even though I'm used to paying only $10, I'm pleased with my purchase so far and believe the money was well spent. br>br>When compared to the average litter box, you can tell this box is of superior quality. The plastic is much thicker and more durable, as well as being relatively non-toxic. stick. The high sides are also very appealing to me. I wanted something high on the sides to keep litter from spilling all over the place, but low enough in the front for my senior cat to get in and out. Oh, and something big enough for an adult cat to move around in (the majority of the other boxes I found were ridiculously small). This is the perfect box for you! br>br>If in doubt, spend the extra cash, especially if your cats are particularly messy or fussy.
It's great that it's only 5 inches from the bottom, but. I received this product on March 7, 2018, and since then, the material that keeps the litter from clumping has started to peel away from the box, leaving strands in the litter. Also, the opening is very narrow; it's great that it's 5 inches from the bottom, but if you have a large cat with arthritis like mine (which is why I bought the box), it's difficult for him to get in because it's too narrow. I wouldn't recommend this litter box for a large cat with arthritis, and whatever material they're using to keep the litter from clumping, I'm not sure I'd want to find pieces of it in the litter.
