Nature's Miracle Oval Hooded Flip Top Litter Box w/Odor Control

There are six of them in use right now. Some of them have already been distributed. I strongly advise everyone to use them. They're perfect for me. However, we recently attempted to replace the filters for the first time and discovered that the filters for this exact product, manufactured by the same company, are complete garbage. They're flimsy and thin, with no resemblance to the real thing. They come in squares with templates, allowing you to do all of the work and cut the filters to size yourself; however, the squares were too short, so we had to use two pieces. Then, because they were so thin, we had to double up. I'm both surprised and disappointed that a company capable of producing such a fantastic litter box would only sell garbage replacement filters. It's just something to keep in mind. Instead, I'm going to experiment with air purifier filters. They will be thicker and longer, at the very least. **

br The cat opening is standard, but the true selling point (especially for a creaky middle-aged man) is the quality of the construction. The front part of the litter box can be LIFTED, massively increasing the opening and making scooping truly easy for an elderly woman like me. This has been an issue with every other hooded litter box I've tried. I'd have to remove the entire lid to truly scoop effectively! A major annoyance. Because we have several cats, we have a lot of these litter boxes. We replaced all of the other litter boxes after I bought this one and haven't looked back since. br>br>If you use this litter box in conjunction with Tidy Cat Free and Clear, your home will be odor-free. br>br>I took a look at a few of the bad reviews. br>br>Male urine was leaking through the latch holes, according to reports. We haven't experienced anything like that. It won't happen if you use Jonny Cat jumbo heavy-duty litter box liners. It will act as a sort of plug for the hole. The latches were said to be difficult to engage. br>br>There were complaints that the latches were difficult to engage. This has also been our experience, though we haven't tried it without a bag. It should be noted that the litter box is 100% effective even when the latches are not engaged. Your cats would have to be a lot of fun (and strong!). ) to get rid of it! br>br>Due to the "rounded corners," there have been complaints about cleaning the box. I'm not sure what that means, but Jonny Cat heavy duty litter box liners (jumbo) are the way to go. There will be no need to clean the box at any time. I'm not sure why this isn't something that everyone does. It's not like not using a liner is a good thing for the environment; You'll have to put the litter in a plastic bag at some point anyway. br>br>Some people complained that the plastic was flimsy and easily broke. I'm not sure what these people are doing to their litter boxes, but we haven't had any issues. Perhaps this is due to the fact that we don't have to clean it because we use liners. br>br>I did get a ten-dollar discount at Petco on our last box.

Since the day I got both of my cats, they've been using an open litter pan, which has caused a major issue. Litter everywhere (female is a kicker/excessive digger), unsightly, no privacy (female has recently become a bully), and my cats are enormous. My male (Maine Coon mix) is about 10 pounds, while my female (Maine Coon mix) is close to 15 pounds and still growing, so finding a large enough litter box is difficult. br>Anyway, I decided to buy a covered box to keep the litter from being kicked all over the place and to give my male more privacy from his pushy little sister. The size and the fact that the lid snaps on and off (totally awesome) drew me to this box, as did the positive reviews. It came quickly and was well-packaged. Because I live in Alaska, I was concerned, but there was no harm done. Surprisingly, it has an odor-neutralizing vent and a pad of some sort, as well as a very useful handle on top! The lid, which flips up and opens halfway to allow easy scooping, is my favorite part. This also made the transition from an open to a closed box easier for my cats. I flipped the lid open, tossed them both into the box a few times to let them know what it was, and then waited. I snapped the lid shut after they'd both used it (which took a few days), and that was the end of it. They both like it so much that I just went out and bought another one to replace our downstairs box. (This is also due to their increased size. ) When it's time to empty the box, simply unsnap the lid completely and empty it. If you have a large cat, this is a must-have.

I'm afraid I won't be able to award any stars. I'm annoyed by the overuse of logos, especially the large bright red one on the top of the box. I live in a small studio apartment, and this gent's room for my cat is already quite large, but the logo transforms it into a giant billboard for Nature's Miracle. There's a logo at the bottom of the box, as well as one inside, which baffles me because my cat can't read. I'd have a nightmare trying to return something this big (it came in a huge carton that was too big to keep). ) but it was only used once, on a bitterly cold night when my cat couldn't go outside. br>I'm an old lady who won't buy anything else from Nature's Miracle because I'm a grumpy old lady.

So this was $13 when I found it. 33 days after Christmas, and for a variety of reasons, I decided to purchase it. The first step is to gather feedback. Second- Third, there is no shipping charge. It was the cheapest dome litter box I could find, and it had the best reviews of any place I looked. Now that I've had it for a few weeks, I'll share my thoughts and impressions. It performs admirably. It has a good foundation. It's a stylish new look. It's a reputable brand that produces high-quality goods. It keeps the majority of the litter contained within the box, but not all of it, which is fine. Our kitten had outgrown her small litter box, and I needed a bigger one. This is something we noticed and are very pleased with. The filter helps to keep the smell inside the box (for the most part). It's a bigger design, which I don't mind. There's enough space for one or two cats in this apartment. For what it is worth- It is an excellent item.
