I tried to demonstrate to my cats by putting them inside with and without the lid, but my oldest cat was having none of it. It's a good idea to keep their old litter box next to it because when I removed mine and only had the new one, they went to the bathroom outside and beside the bin. Even putting the old litter into the new litter box did not help; they were simply too tired to use it. I put the old litter box back just so they can get used to the new one being there, and I remove it once I see they start using the new one, as another answer suggested. I'm hoping they start using it in a couple of days.
Yes! This was the primary motivation behind my decision to try this box. Outside of the box, there is very little or no litter.
Yes! Actually, it's quite good. My dogs are two. It was bought by my mother not long ago. She, too, owns a large dog. It keeps other animals out and keeps the litter from spreading all over the place.
It's possible to use any large cat liner. However, I've discovered that if you use good clumping litter, you don't really need a liner, and if you have a clawed cat, they'll tear them up anyway.

AMAZING. I just got this yesterday, but it wasn't until today that I put my amazing PINE LITTER in it. Within the first 20 minutes of having it ready to go, my cat had already used it! So far, there have been no issues! I'm looking forward to updating you on how this goes in the coming weeks. My other cat hasn't quite figured out how to get in yet, but I'm sure he'll be used to it by tomorrow! br>br>Litterbox that is both sleek and beautiful! Elegant and refined. It's a breeze to clean the litter! It was larger than I anticipated at first, but once I placed it where my old litter box was, I realized it fit a lot better than my old litter box, which was enormous. wore a cape! I had to think for a second about where to hook the litter scooper, but I figured it out now: ) will be purchasing the Petsmate brand in the near future. to find out what the differences are I prefer it this way! br>br>I also strongly advise you to use Equine (horse) Pine Litter! A 40-pound bag will cost you $5. 100% amazing for cats but made for horses. Is there a bad odor coming from your cat's pee? That dreadful event is all I can recall! It's never been so much fun to clean my litter box. I'm breathing more easily now. It's better for my cats, I'm sure of it! Make no attempt to visit Walmart. Get the cat pine litter, it's a hundred times more expensive!! Simply visit a tractor supply store or a similar country store! Or look it up on the internet! I wish more people were aware of this life hack! Putting money aside My olfactory sense!.
So, I thought it would be dog-friendly when I purchased it. proof. It isn't the case. The privacy is appealing to cats. It appears to be more manageable and clean than a regular box so far. br>br>Just don't think your obnoxious dog won't find a way in. He's a big guy, with a weight of 85 pounds.
Until you have poopy paw prints all over your apartment. I never imagined myself in a position where I felt compelled to write a litter box review, but here I am. Previously, we had a large corner litter box for our two female cats—one is 15 pounds and the other is 12 pounds—and I wanted to share my experience to help other cat parents see that this "innovative" litter box isn't for every puss. br>br>Previously, we had a large corner litter box for our two female cats—one is 15 pounds and the other is 12 pounds—and I wanted to share my experience to help other cat parents see that this "innovative" litter Because cats love to track litter around, we've been using a litter mat for a long time. Those who have used a litter mat understand that they aren't perfect either, as they do the job but are difficult to clean. Regardless, when we recently downsized to a smaller apartment, I began looking for a more organized and appealing solution. This appeared to fulfill all of my requirements. Other cat parents praised the process for being much cleaner, with litter and excrement falling back into the magical box. This was, without a doubt, the most difficult situation we've ever faced. Our cats are also among the cleanest I've ever encountered. br>br>Short version of a long story. For a week, our apartment, furniture, and bedding were covered in cat poop. On Friday, the final act of rebellion was a pee puddle on the cat litter mat (which I eventually bought because litter was still being tracked). Our cats have never shown this kind of potty behavior before. br>br>Although the litter box is appealing to the eye, the logistics are completely incorrect. To get out the top, cats have to step in their own feces. They get out by slipping and sliding, then spend the rest of the day trying to clean their paws. To avoid this, I was constantly cleaning the litter box—not a good way to spend time when you own a business. I had to clean our older cat's back foot with a washcloth and soap at one point because it was caked with dirt and she was miserable. br>br>I went out and bought another of their standard, unsightly corner litter boxes. With the pusses and with us, everything is back to normal.
I only had my first cat a month ago, and I quickly realized that having an open box of waste hanging around my house was not for me. After considering a slew of other options, I decided on the IRIS box because it appeared to be the most cost-effective of the non-traditional options. boxes in the traditional sense I'm so glad I took the chance. It appeals to me. It doesn't resemble a litter box in appearance or feel, but rather resembles a high-end storage unit. a trash can or a tote bag for the office You don't realize you're looking at a litter box until you're right next to it. Even though it isn't completely sealed, it does a better job of keeping odors contained than an open box. br>br>It didn't bother me if my cat figured out how to use it or didn't like it. All I had to do was set it up next to his existing box. He had completely transitioned to it on his own within two days; clearly, he prefers to do his business in a private, enclosed space, and he's no longer wiping his paws on the walls when he's finished. I use pine pellets, which are ideal for this box because they disintegrate when exposed to moisture, and the sawdust residues must be shaken to the bottom. Because it's light and completely enclosed, I can vigorously shake this box without issue. There are no spills, but the top is large enough for me to scoop and flush solid waste (pine litter does not clump and is flushable). This setup makes me very happy. Definitely preferable to a stinky, unsightly open box.
However, I am extremely dissatisfied with the product's quality. I've only had it for a few months, but the box's bottom has cracked along the curve. When I went to change the base litter (which I do every few weeks), I discovered a crack. I don't overfill the litter box, and neither do my cats.
