My dog will lick anything you put on him, regardless of how bad it tastes to him. This is a fantastic product. Poncho's paws were severely cracked and dried out. I put it on his feet after our last walk of the day and then keep him occupied by doing our tricks and commands until it has had time to penetrate. I will also keep an eye on him while we relax on "his" couch. His toes are now soft and pleasant to walk on. I believe the stuff works even if they don't lick it for a few minutes. Best wishes to you.
Since she was a puppy, we've been using it on her. Works wonders on elbows and pads! It also has a pleasant scent. Lemony.

This is absolutely incredible! br>br>On one of my older dogs' elbows, she's had some really bad spots. They're bad enough that they'll swell up quite a bit. She is adamant about not laying on soft surfaces (does this sound familiar?). She enjoys licking them, as well. They haven't been able to heal or improve as a result of either of these factors. br>br>Here's where NaturVet Tender Foot Cream comes in. I had hoped that this cream would at the very least help her itching and relieve some of her discomfort, but it has done so much more. After a few weeks of daily application, they don't seem to bother her any longer. She stopped scratching them and started licking them almost immediately. The swelling subsided over the weeks, and they now resemble spots that are devoid of fur. Maybe it's "unattractive," but I'm not bothered when my dog appears to be in better spirits. br>br>The cream is non-greasy and absorbs quickly (a major plus in my opinion). It also has a pleasant odor, and my dogs don't seem to lick it. They appear to enjoy the smell, so I can't rule out the possibility that other dogs will lick them. This is less expensive, you get more, and it works great when compared to other options on the market. Try it out if you have any doubts that it will help your dog. br>br>The only problem now is that my other dog feels excluded, so I have to rub it into his elbow fur.
Because of the roughness, I bought it. After long walks, the paws of our GSDs crack. He doesn't have any dry skin or other issues, so switching to a waxier product would be too messy for him. Primary vitamins are the main ingredients in Tender Foot, which sounded good. It's similar to hand cream in that it takes a long time to absorb into the pads so that no residue is left on the carpets or floors. After using the cream, however, I only noticed a slight softening ( waiting) but the roughness was still there. Throughout the summer, I tried to use it. Snow has been falling recently. Nothing. Despite using it at night, in the morning, in various weather conditions, and on various walking/running surfaces, there has been no improvement. I'm switching to herbal/organic solutions, which I believe will be more effective. Nice cream, but the roughness bothers me. There are still cracks in the foundation.
I had tried a lot of creams in my quest for the perfect balance, and I was getting frustrated. I needed a cream that could not only provide immediate relief for my dog's rough paws with deep cracks, but also protect them from further harm. br>I was hesitant to try this cream because of my previous experiences, but I decided to do so because of the positive reviews. I was pleasantly surprised AND pleased that I gave this one a try because I can confidently report that it outperforms all of the others I've tried! br>First and foremost, the package arrived promptly and in excellent condition! It's a natural remedy for dry, cracked paws, and it absorbs quickly enough into the paw pads that the animal can't lick it off. As a result, unlike some other creams, there are no greasy "paw prints" on my carpet or linoleum. br>The recovery process was both consistent and unexpected. Within 24 hours of the first application, I noticed that my dog was no longer licking his paws obsessively in an attempt to alleviate the pain he was experiencing. They're almost healed after a week of applying this cream every night. br>The product has a pleasant aroma and is made up of natural multi-purpose ingredients. vitamin supplements - meaning it is 100% natural and has Vitamin A, D, E, B2, B5, B6, H, B3 in a non greasy moisturizing cream base that adheres to his paws in a non I think I'm most at ease with the fact that, due to the simplicity of the ingredients, even if my dog ate some of it, there would be no harm done. br>Nothing else I've tried even comes close to having the same effect as this cream. If your dog's paws are cracked and raw, I strongly advise you to try this product!.
I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to tell you about my experience with this product in case you have a dog with itchy cracked paw pads. My recently rescued American bulldog has some skin issues (which are currently being addressed) that have resulted in the worst case of cracked pads I've ever seen in a dog's foot, and I've seen a lot of dog feet. I began with some coconut oil treatments, but they were insufficient for this poor child. I bought this product on the spur of the moment, thinking I'd have to try something else later. Well, let me tell you, I'm blown away and overjoyed to have received it! I was concerned that he had some large, deep cracks that would be impossible to repair. They're almost healed after a week of using this cream nightly. It'll take a while, but at least I'll know it's working. For the time being, I'm going to show you some before and after photos. After a week of use, the second picture is taken. However, it falls far short of the mark. br>Get this if your dog's paws are cracked. Imagine the agony!.
This is what I've been using on my older dog's elbows, which were not only calloused and cracked, but were also bleeding. I thought the only thing I could do was use peroxide to clean it, but then I saw this! His elbows are getting better now, and the pink skin is coming back! Plus; He appears to be in a better mood now. He used to lick me while I was applying it when I first started. That convinced me that this was well worth the money, and that his pain was subsiding!.
