Questions & Answers
These shears came with a very soft suede sheath when I ordered them about a year ago. They're well-made, for what it's worth.
Right- Left-handed is the norm. Left-handed scossors will claim to be left-handed. handed
I read the description of an item I purchased two years ago. In the description, there was no mention of a round tool. The scissors were packaged in a ziplock bag with the leather sheath. I didn't get anything else in the mail. The money spent on these scissors was well spent. The cost is less than what you'd pay for the same item from a dog show vendor.

These curved shears are well-made and well worth the price, which isn't too high when compared to the price range for good shears. They are a good investment for a groomer who grooms at home. The seller was quick to respond to my question and to ship the items out. br>I'd like to share an interesting observation with you. These shears are for people who are right-handed. I imagined that the purpose of curved shears would be to trim/clip the dog's hair (such as a poodle's top knot) in my right hand, with the tip/point of the shears curving away from the dog. When held in the right hand, the curve/point faces the dog, and your pinky finger rests on the little finger rest. Regardless of whether they are used in the right or left hand, these shears are right handed. I can turn them around so that the point points up at the ceiling, but then the pinky rest is on top and useless. It's not a big deal, but if clarifying this helps someone else, as it did me, I'll include it in the review. I haven't had much experience with them, but I did try clipping with them. They're razor-sharp and clearly superior to the $14-a-piece ones. Shears with a price tag of $40.
These things don't cut it at this price, and it's very frustrating. period. They've been adjusted; You haven't cut anything yet. It's extremely aggravating - (We have the same brand of thinning shears and they are the same price. ) They've been with me for about 6 months. They haven't been sharpened in 7 years and are still in excellent condition! ) Needless to say, these will be returned. In addition, scissors state that they are seven. 5" - However, this is not the case. They're only 7" in length, with a 3" blade.
I would have given 5 stars if I hadn't received two pairs of straight shears instead of one curved and one straight, which I didn't realize until I sent my regular shears to be sharpened a few months later. The straights, on the other hand, are fantastic. They're some of my favorite shears for smaller jobs.
For the past few months, I have been grooming professionally with these scissors. They're just the right size, and the finger holes are small enough that the scissors don't slip around while I'm working. For that reason, I wouldn't recommend these scissors to anyone with large hands and fingers (as my partner has difficulty using them), but they are ideal for a small-scale project. They're ideal for a right-handed person, as the curve is both functional and not excessive. br>br>I can also attest to the fact that these are long-lasting. I've dropped them three times now, all three times on a tile floor, with no harm done. After the first drop, my partner's scissors bent. These are a high-quality product that I intend to keep for a long time.
If they hadn't been so, they would have worked. The gator Ed geib band was recommended to me by a groomer, so I ordered these. If they weren't so tiny, these could have worked. They aren't even close to being a 7. 5" in length, as stated in the description, and shears on its own. They're sharp and cut well, but because they're so short, you won't get a smooth, clean cut and you'll end up with dents. If you're looking for a regular curved grooming shear, look somewhere else. Once I receive confirmation from the seller, I will return these.
I am in possession of number eight. I also have 5 and 10 inch shears, which I adore. They're comfortable in my hand and stand up to a lot of abuse. When my sharpening guy has to adjust and sharpen them after I've dropped them, he hasn't complained. They come fairly sharp, but if my sharpening guy happens to be in the area, I have him touch them up. Otherwise, they're still a pleasure to cut.
Not bad, but for some reason it arrived a little dirty. They're not my favorite shears, but they're good for beginners. They're also extremely sharp, so use caution!.
These scissors are absolutely fantastic. This was the result of a recommendation from a local groomer. It's well-balanced, has a nice edge, and the perfect curve. They come highly recommended from me.
