The 8 1/2" size is the first time I have ordered it. Despite being so lightweight, they are extremely sharp and comfortable. My own hair needs to be cut, anyway, so it was a no-brainer. While I purchased it for my dog, I get the chance to use it on all of my family members. This is a high-quality article that I highly recommend.
