She has thick nails for a small dog and really does not like to have them trimmed. She will whine to people if they attempt to clip them. I remember we had two sets of nail clippers one set was similar to this, but it would not open wide enough, and the other had blades that were really thick, so she must have felt them squeeze her nails and that was Usually I just take her to the veterinarian, $12 each time. Pet nail clippers like these have always been a bit leery of me due to the fact that I can't see exactly where the cutting edge is positioned. Nonetheless, I like these a lot. They are angled, so it's easier to see them These sharpened spikes do not crush claws, and they are SHARP. (far too many) cats, and a couple of them consider claw clippers to be personal enemies and instruments of the Devil. I have been able to clip the claws on a couple of them without immobilizing them . It's nice to know that they forgive me fast. Can't ask for much more.

As a result of the slight bend, I was able to see a lot better Don't be afraid to cut. Moreover, it had a sharp edge, yet was heavy enough to easily handle all claws in one motion and leave no ragged edges. two other brands that looked similar but failed completely. ) I used these on my 28 lb Min Pin mix's nails as well and they worked just as well at cleaning them! While her nails are not as big as those of my 12 lb dog, my dogs nails are a bit bigger. I was really surprised how well both dogs handled the clipping session! My arthritis does make these a bit difficult to use, but I found them easy to use as I am not a professional. Thank you for all your help! The price is incredibly low for such a great tool!.

It's a shame these clippers are so bad. Since I have owned pets and cut their nails for over 16 years without any issues, I would not recommend these products. Whenever I cut their nails properly, the nails are very dull and crack/shatter. Perhaps I got a bad set. I also noticed that the blade width is too large for a cat (even though the handle is small), and my cats are 16". Thanks for visiting my site! The Bengals weigh 20 pounds. I really should try and stay away from these garbage clippers now that the one-month return period has passed, now I'm stuck with them.

It's absolutely amazing how good these clippers are. I appreciated the fact that they were sharp, quick, and easy to use which made getting the nail from either angle very easy. The easiest thing in the world to cut her nail was clipping her I love the feel of these, I love that they are made with recyclable materials, and I love how they can be reused. It worked like a charm. Despite my efforts to shorten the nails on my 20 lb dog, his were long and had to be trimmed No matter the type of grinder, he squeals and freaks out when clippers are used. He didn't make a peep, and it does not exert any pressure to clip, it works like a pair of I was so surprised, he isn't clicking anymore, I didn't see him cry at all. There is also easier visibility of where your blade will be cutting, it's smooth.
