On all four of our dogs, I use the small size. between ten and twenty-five pounds They are my favorite. They are never aware that I will be accompanying them. LOL
I wouldn't bother with the smaller ones.
I used to have a pair like this for clipping my ferret's nails many years ago. As a result, I'm confident that these will work with sugar glider nails. Always keep an eye out for the quicksand. Simply remove a small portion at a time.
To go along with it, I purchased a VOSOV PET NAIL GRINDER. My baby cat responds well to both products.

My kittens' reactions to these scissors make you think they've been trained in martial arts. The scissors are fantastic once I've subdued a cat, splayed its toes, and gotten close to a nail. They should, however, most likely come with padded gloves and a restraint harness. Still, ten out of ten.
These work well for clipping kitty's nails. Every few weeks, I try to retract their claws before clipping off the sharp nail tips. My only criticism is that these clippers have a proclivity for splitting nails, so use with caution. They are reasonable in price.
It's been almost a year since I bought it; I began to notice that they were becoming more difficult to operate (open and close) about three months ago. I had to abandon the trim job today because they were almost fused together! They've never been exposed to the elements, submerged in water, or used on wet paws. The screw holding them together appears to have rusted, rendering these trimmers useless.
Works well, but the handle size and thickness of the clip's edge are (in my opinion) too thick, making it difficult to see what I'm cutting. A larger animal would benefit from the thickness of this clip's edge.
For my small dog's paws, I like these nail clippers. She likes to scratch the hardwoods and the couch, which means I have to clip her nails more frequently, and the automatic nail grinder heats up too quickly to do the job on all paws. It appears that being able to use these clippers to shorten the nail and then the grinder to smooth it out is a winning combination.
The "scissor" handle is my favorite because it gives me more control and allows me to see how much I'm clipping. My hand covers the small handles of the tool, so my dogs aren't scared of it. After each clip, I pet and scratch my dogs, then reward them with a treat and praise them for their good behavior! Clipping nails is no longer a stressful experience.
I should've realized what I was getting myself into. This tiny clipper is revolutionary, and I'm guessing it doesn't put any pressure on their nails. There will be no more crying or reluctance to have our nails trimmed. Whew. If you have a small dog, love, or family member, do yourself a favor and get these clippers. They'll be grateful.
This trimmer is the most comfortable to hold and operate of all the trimmers we've tried. The cats do not flee when they see it because they are not harmed when it is used. Our two cats will enjoy the small size.
