True, but this is a completely different product line from purely FOOD. Appetizers were intended to be just that: a treat, and they are purely edible. This item is not no longer available. The company informed me directly.
My 13-year-old cat enjoys them because they are a Thai product. It appears to be of a high standard.

My cats adore this product, but dealing with all of the packaging has left me exhausted. I feed this to my three cats on a daily basis, as well as a small TNR colony in a park near my house. It's a battle to unbox it. There is an excessive amount of packaging. Each container is carefully sealed, which is all that is required, and then placed in a separate slide-off advertising wrapper, which is both unnecessary and wasteful. Following that, the containers are placed in a second half-ton container. After that, it was placed in a heavy cardboard box with large gold staples that had a bottom but no top. I have to open the heavy cardboard box with a kitchen knife, and by the time I get to the actual product, I have created a pile of trash. I'm hoping the manufacturer will repackage it soon, because if not, I'll stop buying it.
I have two calico cats: one who is slightly overweight and was rescued when she was 11 years old (Chloe), and the other who is lean and slim and was rescued as a kitten (Cali). Our two daughters are now both twelve years old. Cali loves them in all flavors, while Chloe doesn't like them at all. They're both a little picky in their own ways. Chloe prefers cat food to the chicken, salmon, or turkey that I'll cook for them (if she were a human, she'd be a junk food eater), but Cali prefers it when I cook - She's our high-maintenance, picky calico who would rather eat what you're eating (sometimes right off your plate) than her cat food: (If she were a human, she'd be described as a healthy eater. ) These are high-quality, real chicken with broth, and they're a great substitute for when I don't have anything else ready to eat.
We've had a Fancy Feast in our house since the 1990s, so when these were released, I ordered them right away, and the cats absolutely adore them. Only one per day is recommended so that it is everyone's breakfast. br>br>Lots of meat and juice; you may need to break up some of the pieces if you have a picky cat, or not at all if you have one who eats everything: )br>br>Really smells good, and the cats seem to enjoy all of the different flavors!.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank Fancy Feast, thank you for resurrecting the Appetizers! These were favorites of my two cats until Fancy Feast was phased out and replaced with the "Purely" variety. They wouldn't touch them with a ten-foot pole, so I've been on the hunt for a replacement ever since. Kittens and Mom are both in good spirits once more.
This is without a doubt her favorite flavor. We've relied on these to keep her moisture intake up because she doesn't like wet food in general. Her favorite part of the dish, I believe, is the broth. These aren't cheap, but we're glad we can spoil her now that she's older.
org! It's a good snack. A DIET THAT IS NOT COMPLETE! My cat goes through phases where she is sick and refuses to eat, but she ate these! br>br>If you adore your cat, keep reading! br>Visit catinfo. com for more information. Visit org to learn why dry food is bad for our cats and why even the cheapest wet food is better than any dry! Read about how some of the more expensive cat foods, such as Rachel Ray and Blue Wilderness, don't provide the right balance of protein, fat, and carbs for our felines. Please read about how some of these say "9% protein" but half of that protein is plant based and how some of these say "9% protein" but half of that protein is plant based and That is undesirable. Our cats are carnivores, so make sure the first 5 or 6 ingredients are MEAT, even if one is by accident! All of their protein should come from meat rather than plants, and they should never eat dry food! We feed that to them for our own convenience, and it isn't fair!.
I figured I'd give these small "snack" size servings a try, and since I could only get a few for her to try, I figured I'd give it a shot. I purchased tuna with shrimp first. Everything up to this point had been fine, except for the tuna. br>br>While the shrimp was spit out, she ate the rest of the meal. br>br>The salmon was the next type I tried. I was sceptical because in the past, only tuna was considered safe. But wow. The plate has been thoroughly licked! She savored every last morsel of it! That's a pleasant surprise, and I've got one more dish for her to try: tuna with scallops. That is something that will be discussed later. br>br>I'm not holding my breath for that one, but if she eats the salmon and the majority of the tuna, minus the scallops and the shrimp- That makes me happy! Unlike the dry stuff, this is really good because it's made with real seafood. This should keep my furry friend content and purring for a long time.
She enjoyed it for the first ten minutes, but then it ended. However, the product was of the high standard that I've come to expect from Appetizers. The cat is the only one who has a problem. I'll save what I've got for the next cat, which is due to arrive soon.
