Kittens eat kitten food for the first year of their lives. They'll be able to eat adult foods after that. My veterinarian informed me that the kitten requires the vitamins and nutrients.

Update: I decided to give Amazon a second chance because my cats prefer this food over others and Amazon has it for a much lower price. But this time, instead of subscribing and hoping for better quality, I used Prime shipping. It got a LOT WORSE! One of the packages had exploded, and one-half of the box was covered in dried, dead maggots when I opened it. Yes, Amazon offers a lower price for this item, but you get what you pay for. That meant a box full of maggots and a refund in my case.
- Original review: br>br> I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or if it's a problem with the distributor Amazon uses for their subscribe and save program, but my cats have been throwing up the entire meal within a few hours of eating and having very watery diarrhea afterwards with the last two shipments. br>br>In addition, the vomit has revealed that this product contains a significant amount of coloring, as it has left a large stain on my carpet.
It is a big hit with our cat. However, there is a serious flaw in this most recent case. I noticed the cat only nibbled at it, so I threw out what she didn't finish and replaced it with a new plate. She didn't eat it for about an hour before throwing up! When I happened to glance over at her food plate, I noticed this bright red goo. I'm not sure what it is, but it showed up after the food had been sitting for about an hour. It's the first time something like this has happened. I've never seen her eat for more than a couple of hours, and I've never seen this red goo appear. This case will, without a doubt, end up in the trash. Hopefully she won't become terribly ill as a result of it! Anyway, if you received this cat food within the last month, it might be a good idea to wait an hour before feeding it to your cat to see if it develops this strange red goo. For your convenience, I've included photos of the food with the strange red goo as well as a photo of the date code. I'm hoping for a refund. This food, on the other hand, will not be given to the cat.
Avoderm wet cat food in a 5 oz can twice a day (half in the morning and half in the evening). My husband, however, purchased this Iams after we ran out of our Avoderm. Because it's already divided into two parts, the Iams packaging appeared to be much more convenient. My cat, on the other hand, kept meowing and wouldn't stop, so I assumed she liked the Iams and wanted more. However, we received our shipment of Avoderm today (after about a week of serving the Iams), so I compared nutrition information and discovered that one can of our regular Avoderm is equal to four servings of our regular Avoderm. 5 servings of Iams (both in terms of serving size and calories). Basically, you must provide your cat with 2 - To make one regular 5, you'll need 2 1/2 packages of Iams. Cat food in a 5 oz. bag. As a result, this Iams is more troublesome and costly than my healthier Avoderm. I just wanted to let people know that if their cat appears to be begging for more food, it's most likely just hungry!.
Our cats have been eating this for a few years after our veterinarian recommended it to help them lose weight. They've lost a lot of weight and are really enjoying the food. The only issue we have with it is that it's difficult to open without getting your fingers stuck in the stinky food, and it can also splatter sauce up your face if you pull at the wrong speed or angle. Especially if you're one of those people who feeds the cats first thing in the morning. The cats, on the other hand, appear to enjoy the show.
I'm going to give it a 4. Our cats adore it, so it gets a five. The mess gets a 4 out of 5. br>Our cats are now 11 years old and have mostly eaten Iams grain-free cat food. For the rest of their lives, they'll be fed free chicken cat food. Other Iams flavors, as well as any other brand, are disliked by them. It's no surprise, then, that our cats adore these treats. They always finish their meals and appear to be satisfied. There will be no more crying. br>What I don't like is that I always have trouble opening the packs without spilling the contents: My hands, the floor, the wall, and our cats are just a few of the things I'm thinking about right now. I've tried opening it with my right hand, left hand, pulling towards me and away, very slowly, and some liquid always burps out. I'm going to wash my hands anyway after feeding the cats, but it's just a little gross. br>It's also nearly impossible for me to open these if my hands are even slightly damp. br>However, the cats seem to enjoy it, which is all that matters.
Poducts. This reminded me of Iams Purrfect Delights in a can, which Iams no longer sells. That pleased my cats, and I appreciated the absence of meat by-products. products. I didn't realize until after I placed my order that Iams Pefect Portions contains meat by-products. as a component of goods I was taken aback because I had assumed Iams was a higher-end pet food. If I wanted to buy cat food with questionable ingredients, I'd go with Friskies, which is much less expensive. I will not purchase Iams in the future. I'll be buying Meow Mix Simple Servings single serve cups from now on because they're less expensive overall, despite the fact that they come in tiny portions, and they have better ingredients than Iams - They aren't allowed to eat meat because they are vegetarians. poducts. And, to be honest, my cats prefer Meow Mix Simple Servings to Iams.
br>The Dual tray feeding containers keep everything fresh, resulting in minimal waste, which is always a plus. br>We've spent hundreds of dollars on fancy wet foods that our cat won't eat, so if you have a picky feline, give this a try. You might just find your match. If you supplement with a good dry kibble like Orijen, you'll save money on vet bills and have a healthy, happy cat:.
