My female cat has cystitis, so my vet recommended that I get her this dry cat food, which she loves and helps her pee. This food comes highly recommended by me:.
I have five boys out of my seven cats, so this food is now being consumed by all of them. They treat it as if it were candy and prefer it to other dry foods. It's almost as if they'll die if they don't get it. In the morning, they are dry, and at night, they are wet. To keep them hydrated, I make sure to mix water into their canned food. It's dubbed "soup" by my son. I'm grateful for this food if it prevents them from becoming blocked; I just wish it was less expensive.
With COVID, it's all about the small stuff. I was afraid I'd run out of cat food before I could get the next bag, as the number 19 was reaching its pinnacle. I ordered it with only a hazy idea of when it would arrive, and God bless whoever packaged it! "Please hurry with the special diet pet food! "The package arrived the same day the food ran out. I'm grateful beyond words! br>br>In terms of food, my cat has been on a strict diet for quite some time. It, as well as the wet food, appears to be a hit with him. Sure, it's a little more expensive than regular cat food, but I can rest assured that when he's got a bag of his "stress" food in his mouth, he'll be his best self. I've seen the difference between stress and no stress, and my poor scaredy cat does a lot better when he eats stress food specifically.
I won't have to bring him back to the vet to get his RX food anymore, according to the vet. They didn't require an exam until I tried to order it from another sales outlet - That was terrible; I can't take him in for an exam and risk making his problems worse! I'm able to order it here and continue to provide him with proper care.
Only because our cat enjoys it did I give it a high rating on Amazon's flavor and scent questions. I've never had the pleasure of tasting or smelling it! Our vet prescribed this dry diet, as well as a special canned diet and only distilled water to drink, in order to protect our cat from urinary tract problems (most likely bladder) that were causing blood in his urine. It's a little annoying, though, that Hill's diets are only available with the permission of veterinarians. That appears to be a factor in keeping the price higher than it would otherwise be, which is why I only gave it a four-star rating.
First, I bought this food for my cat in chicken flavor. I got the fish flavor because she liked it at first but then lost interest. Her stomach churned as a result of the fish flavor. My guess (and the vet's) is that there's an ingredient in these foods that my cat is allergic to, and the fish version has more than the chicken version. So we switched to Royal Canin and it's been fine. br>br>Obviously, this won't apply to every cat, but if yours exhibits similar behavior, you should switch to a different brand instead of experimenting with different flavors.
My cats will eat this kind of food. This is a more affordable option for the price, which is significantly lower than the pure prescripition C/D formula, which is specifically for UT issues, etc. If your cat has chronic or serious UT health issues, consult your veterinarian before switching to this if he or she has prescribed c/d. My cats seem to enjoy it, which makes me very happy. The only thing I didn't like about them is that they're quite large, like dog food size, and while this is fine for my larger cats, I have a tiny cat who might choke on them or not eat enough due to their size and hardness. Larger cats' teeth, on the other hand, may benefit from it.
For the past two months, my cat has been eating this food. He's thrown up four times now, despite the fact that he hadn't thrown up in his previous non-emergency situation. specialized food for the urinary system Because it's only $1, I'm going to give IAMs a try. $5 vs. $50 per pound 50 a lb. I don't mind the cost because my cat consumes about 4 pounds of food per month, but I don't want him to vomit all the time.
