Questions & Answers

When does the validity of the certificate expire? In order to be able to use Frontline Plus and Revolution alternately, we need a fresh (12-month) expiration date. ?

It is the ACTUAL Frontline that has no expiration date since it is made entirely in France for the USA! Moreover, they are at least 3 years older than the packages with a grey cat on them. On the newest packages, you can see an orange cat.

Is there a difference between Frontline Plus and Frontline Tritak? Does one work better against ticks than the other? Thanks a lot! ?

The two main ingredients of Frontline plus are ethylene glycol and xanthan gum. A third chemical component, called Cyphenothrin, has been added to Frontline tritak in addition to its two main active ingredients. In both product labels, ticks are cited as a kill, but it's hard to say which is better.

When I bought Front Line Plus last year, the expiration date was on the packaging. A similar product was delivered to me again and did not have an expiration Can I do it if my veterinarian says so?

How do I know whether the six vials of frontline I will receive are the new or the old package? You stated it was 3 years old if it was the old one. What happens to that once it expires?

My dog has been using Frontline on our beagle with good results thus far. The scratching has continued since Ginger was bathed three days ago, then treated with Frontline. There seems to be only 1 1/2 years worth of Frontline in my package. I write the date of every application on the package. November 17, 2016 was the first day applications were accepted.

This product caused my cat to become terribly ill and Frontline advised me to stop using it
3/5

Having a 6lb Siamese cat put this in my mouth was a very bad experience. A 6 year old, he also plays soccer. Follow the instructions on the packaging to apply the product. It did not take him more than 10 minutes for my little guy to start vomiting and become In my call to the manufacturers, I received the following On the package you will find a free phone number, so we called it and waited nearly 20 minutes to speak with someone (the company called themselves technicians). My information was taken by her as she was very concerned. Detailed information about my experience was taken as a report. My veterinarian advised me it would be best to request a refund and stop using the product in case any additional symptoms occur or persist. The other day I spoke with my veterinarian over the phone. We have been working with him for over a decade now and he treats all of our family pets. The doctor told me that his clinic stopped using Frontline years ago based on situations like the one I experienced and the fact that, in his opinion, the product was ineffective in "our area" of North Georgia. In other regions, this may not be the case (again, his professional opinion). My criticism of this product is in no way meant to be negative or imply that it is inferior. Results may vary from person to person. As far as I know, the reaction by my cat to Frontline Plus for Cats was awful and it freaked me out to no end. In addition, I was prescribed a product called Revolution by my veterinarian and we have an appointment to be tested out next week. My vet asked me to observe my cat for 24 hours to see if his energy returned and to see if he was eating and drinking adequately. For some reason, he felt it important to see him before our scheduled time if he was drinking more than average.

I felt it necessary It is possible that your experience will be different than mine. On my package, there was a lot number.

Now that Frontline Southern California is immune to fleas, there are no more complaints
3/5

It is unfortunately the first year I have not been able to use Frontline and Advantage The Californians live in the southern part of the state. As fleas get older, they become immune to them. The product did not have any faults We all knew it would happen one day. To replace Cats, I switched to Cheristan drops. The only drops I can give my cats anymore work with it. It was recommended to me by my groomer. Please note

It's not like what you get at the vet in terms of liquid packaging
3/5

Previously I bought this product from a veterinarian, and the packaging in the interior of the liquid looked nothing like the packaging found at a vet's office. This was applied to my cat and didn't seem to be very Observing my cat three days after I applied it, I saw a flea walk right across the spot on its back where it had been My cats didn't have very many dead fleas laying around their sleeping areas either. I went to my local veterinarian and paid 40 dollars more for the same amount of medication. As soon as my pets slept in the area within the first two days, I found dead fleas in the area. After two doses, there were no fleas to be found. It was just a precaution to break the cycle with the third dose. My only worry is that this product might not be authentic because of the liquid packaging difference, or maybe The next time I buy this product from Amazon, I will not purchase it.

There is a risk involved
3/5

Frontline has never failed for me in the past, but this time it just did not work. I treated each cat twice, and it just did not work. I have 3 cats, and every single one of them was treated with frontline. To get advantage, I will have to buy it. There have been more fleas in Florida than I have ever seen in my life.

Frontline is a good product
5/5

We have used it for a Our three cats are very happy with it, and it works well in killing fleas and So you understand how it works, it would be helpful if you read how it is applied. In addition to being absorbed into the skin of the cat, it is a "systemic" medicine. Ticks and fleas die if they bite, as they absorb an antibiotic dose. It does not mean they are instantly dead. There is still a need to check your cat often for ticks around its eyes. The Frontline is not resistant to ticks, as some people have stated, but our experience has not been that way. If you order other products, take care to read the product description carefully. There are some products that only work on fleas or ticks, but In both cases, Frontline is useful.

Frontline Plus is being reacted to in an allergic manner
3/5

I have a cat who, otherwise, is healthy but is having a severe reaction to this product -- On September 9th, I applied for it. As he is a large male, I thought it wasn't killing the fleas sufficiently (like I said he is a large male) so I put on a few more drops. am sorry for having done this because there was no flea dust on him and he's itching/licking all over. He is in desperate need of medical attention at the moment. It now concerns me that Frontline Plus is sourced from China. This may be one of the dangers of buying things online. I'm interested in any ideas on how I can stop his reaction without a veterinary visit. In addition to relocating out of state (which is stressful for him) and running a full time cat rescue operation, we are also currently in the middle of an out-of-state move. The fund does not exist. My veterinarian can't care for small things because so many recent veterinary rescue emergencies have been paid for with credit cards. Using caution when buying online. Hopefully Buddy will find relief once this wears off, if it does.
