As we seldom encounter ticks on the coast, I'm not sure about their presence. The smell is not unpleasant, however.

I live in an area that is plagued by fleas & ticks Most of the time, they seem impervious to most things. This is how Frontline and I fared Not a single thing was done. We had an infestation of fleas on our dogs. My carpet was dirty and I tried putting diatomaceous earth in it but it didn't do any good There were rugs, but they failed to help. even tried natural oil that is supposed to keep fleas away but it didn't work. I fed my pets brewer's yeast and probiotics but they still got fleas. Activyl was the only thing that worked for me when none of the natural or topical treatments worked. One of the owners of the pet shop recommended the product to me. After flea-freeing them, they are finally free of pests. Many cats in our neighborhood wander into our yard and spread their fleas around. This item is a 10 out of 10.
No expiration dates were included in the three packets I received. A box with 3 packets inside that had not been opened was expected. Instead, I received 3 packets individually. Even though I know the expiration date, I can't tell when it's approaching. It seems that the packets are at least 2 years old, based on the date written at the bottom. Because there is no way to tell when the drugs expired, I will not be able to use them.
The dog can get sick from some things, but this is less harmful. This product is recommended by a veterinarian as a better choice than Bravecto, Advantage, Advantix, Frontline, etc. , which carry the risk of being more toxic to dogs than Activyl. Activyl works great! I'm happy with its results!
