Questions & Answers

Which is better, Capstar blue label or ?

There is no difference, just the packaging has changed. Our 4 month old kitten got a pill and it worked like a charm and there were no side effects. We have these in the house and use them on occasion. The best way to get rid of fleas is by using Capstar. My assessment of the situation does not earn me a dime.

How long does it take before the pill makes the cat act as if something is biting it after about 20 minutes of taking it?

These fleas become spastic as a result of Capstar's damage to their nervous system. It gets very frenzied and the fleas make a lot of noise. The cats get a little insane from all the movement on their skin for the next 30 minutes I recommend you allow 60 minutes to complete this.

The stuff you're talking about actually works, right? What is the best way to get the cat to ?

Fleas on cats begin to die within 30 minutes after this product is applied. Your cat may need to be purged with a pill so that they get the whole dose or it may be possible to disguise the product in a treat your cat enjoys.

Are there any benefits of using this in addition to a topical flea treatment?

For years, I have used this medicine on my dog and nothing but great results have been achieved. The topical treatment and flea collar have always been applied on the same day of the pill treatment and I have never had a negative reaction. They have thick, kinky, matted hair and shampoo treatments just ruin their coats, making it impossible for us to brush them. I then used this product to brush them, and that made the problem worse. For us, this product was a blessing in disguise. We have just rescued two cats and I'm about to purchase the car treatment for them. To answer your question, absolutely you can use the topical treatment on the same day. I had even called animal poison control to verify that it was safe to do so, since they are two different types of medicines that work in As for the lady who said she would resist buying this product because she saw a review of an animal having a seizure from this medication, you never know exactly what the animal's medical history is or if the poster actually takes their animals to the vet. why it is so important to treat our animals with pesticides, or as you say, with dangerous chemicals, is because we are more likely to lose our furbabies if these chemicals are not used. In addition to transmitting diseases, they can carry heartworms, induce anemia in animals, and worst of all, make them feel miserable itching and dealing with This is not meant to adversely affect your decision or to undermine you in any way. I simply do not want others to read your answer and ignore other options for not taking care of their pets parasites properly. We have tried those and it's a waste of time, effort, and money as my dogs already have skin issues that cause itchiness and irritation. I couldn't bare seeing them miserable with fleas because we chose to use nothing or homeopathic medicine that doesn't work. As I said, I highly recommend these flea pills, and I've used them along with topical treatments and flea collars for years with no side effects except being flea and tick free ever since I started using them!

My beloved cat Tyto died yesterday after being exposed to this product
3/5

These products have been given to every one of our cats who have suddenly gone flea crazy. There was one cat who panted and had heavy breathing due to a mild reaction. In contrast, Tyto suffered an anaphylactic reaction and lost his life while being transported to the hospital emergency room. The warning does not mention this at all. Tyro is no longer with us, and we are now a broken family.

This is incredible! My fleas had been bothering me for over a month without relief and then this happened
5/5

It's the worst carpet infestation I've ever seen. I got a new kitten, and she's infesting my carpets like no other. It took me at least an hour to remove 50+ fleas from her a day when she weighed a mere 2 pounds. It was also eating me alive, so I tried everything - so I could save myself - but nothing worked. There have been flea meds applied to the carpet and the cat's fur, as well as flea bombs and flea combings, as well as dawn soap baths, with no success. During my work hours, I met an exterminator who told me to use what every exterminator uses to treat the environment - he told me to use what exterminators use to kill fleas. A flea and bedbug spray that is made in the mountains. It costs him $450 to do the job for someone, but I found it on Amazon for $30! As soon as I treated the environment, I decided to treat my cat and kitten at the same time. So, I crushed up one Capstar pill for each cat and added it to their wet food - and my cats didn't reinfest the house. The kids wolfed down the food without a problem. The day before I sprayed the Alpine flea spray I gave each cat one pill, and gave them another the day after. I also took the cats out of the house after administering each pill. In fact, cats were literally covered in fleas! I finally got rid of the fleas and nearly broke down in tears. In order to have a flea infestation under control, all you need are Capstar and Alpine fly.

'Two Tails' is a tale of two stories
3/5

There are Fleas on me! A brother and sister cat pair that we rescued as kittens, that are strictly indoor pets and only allow their food into their bowls, resides with us. Neither of them has ever been outside since they came home. Consequently, we were dismayed to discover that they both had flea infestations. Having done some research online, I bought the product & I received it this morning in the mail. It was a tiny piece of a pill, so I broke it up into tiny pieces and swallowed it I mixed it in with albacore tuna for them both I had hoped they would eat it up, and they did. In 30 days or less As I prepared myself based on other reviews, I noticed that the female had been licking and chewing excessively for 45 minutes Although our 20lb male cat was running around the house yowling like a banshee, excessively panting and snarling like a cat in distress, we did not need to worry. Lips are moving. As long as I kept him close to me and didn't comb him, he seemed to calm down This is it. Capstar has absolutely no effect on fleas, though I can confirm that. Let's move quickly! There are dozens of dead fleas on the floor around us as I am combing him. There is literally nothing left on the cats but fleas. Our eyes are firmly fixed on him & In the interest of full disclosure, I withheld the full five-star rating His side effects made him reduce his rating from a 5 to a 1. It would seem that two cats would have very different reactions to each other. The product is effective at eliminating fleas as promised, but you must decide whether you prefer to risk the side effects for the benefit. I would give it 3 stars overall, because fleas killing is 5 stars, side effects are 1 star, and overall, it's a 3 star rating.

This is horrible! CLICK ON THE PHOTOS BELOW TO SEE BEFORE & AFTER
3/5

This is horrible! The product we purchased was intended to help our beloved fur family, but not only did the treatment not help at all, it also caused her even bigger problems. We have noticed that she has been losing clumps of hair in patches all over her body, and she has lost quite a few pounds since taking For advertising that this is safe to use on smaller framed cats and even kittens, you should be ashamed of yourself. Sunny is a beautiful flame point Siamese cat, grumpy and spoiled by default. As a result, we have had to keep an eye on her as she naps, making sure she will wake up. We have been so scared that our vet has ordered us to apply cream to her skin so as to soothe it from whatever harm this poison has caused! Dear fellow cat lovers, please do not risk your fur family's health by purchasing this. It does nothing but kill adults fleas that are on your pet, but I suppose it still does some good if it kills a few. Unlike other treatments, it does not give the few fleas that are already fully developed in one go, but does nothing for any of the other fleas that aren't developed yet. The collar does not get the eggs or larva. It has no intention to do that, but for the price it should at least give your pet a day of relief so that we can add something like drops and treat the environment so that the manifestations are less severe. It is of the utmost importance that you look after your fur family's health. When I see what this has done to my sassy and wonderful princess kitty, I cry, and my heart breaks. In the event that we had known in advance that she would lose her fur this way, we would have simply had her shaved from I hope no one will ever have to watch their beloved fur family get sick over a horrible product they only bought to help them. Our vet recommends it, and in order to do so, it is twice the price of this product. It makes me sad to see our Sunshine in pain and I just want her to get better. The following photos have been taken 1 & 2 Our cat can be seen in photos 2 and 3 as she is right now, and before we began this treatment she was perfectly healthy. It is not the way to treat your beloved pet, so don't even let that idea enter your head. There is just no reason for us to spend so much more on veterinarian visits! Do yourself a favor and save yourself a headache. Find out what else is out there. Let's be sure. I don't know what to say except that it is poisonous. As well as watching our cat every time she takes a nap and making sure she wakes up properly. In order to eliminate fleas, all of this must be done. Having said that, rest assured that we are going to check on her often to make sure she wakes I am losing my hair and I am unable to rid myself of these flea pests. There has never been a worse time for them.

I love it for killing fleas

I am in awe of these things It's hard to get the pill into a cat's mouth, and it seems like fleas began dropping right after I got the pill in their mouth
I swear I just barely got the pill in their mouth!.
