Some of these might not be Bayer Advantages at all
3/5

The cats in my household are my little girls, and I adore them very much. To keep them flea-free, I use the Advantage product No charge. In the past, I have purchased these from Amazon, but this last batch did not seem to be effective. *BR>Usually, when I apply flea-fighting products, they are effective. Within seconds of squeezing the medication onto them, my cats react in a very favorable way. As far as I can tell, the treatment is having a negative effect on them. I didn't bother looking at them when I applied this batch, however. It normally has a rather distinct odor to it, but this batch didn't have it.
They also picked up fleas afterward. They are in great abundance. I will probably purchase this through Amazon another time just in case the package turns out to be damaged. In the event that this is also ineffective, I'll have to pay more at my veterinarian. The prices of these are somehow designed to achieve those goals, so I'm concerned that these are fakes.

I almost died trying to save When he got fleas, I did anything to get rid of them
3/5

Since my cat is my life, I could not let him down. Having to shave him (he is a Himalayan) and bathe him was a hassle, and he had dried blood and dirt on him. In less than 24 hours after exposure to the drops, he became Since this was listed as a common side effect, I was not too concerned about it. To make sure he would be able to drink, I kept the sink on a low setting. On the following day, he was extremely lethargic, and had poor balance on his back legs. (He always gets up to greet me when I return The first thing he did when I arrived home was not to acknowledge me). As I was beginning to freak out, it wasn't surprising that I became anxious. In the middle of the night, I called the vet and made an appointment for the next day (3 days after I free feed my cat, and he has undereated due to trauma as a kitten (he is 14 years old), so I didn't notice he wasn't eating until 48 hours after the incident. The appointment was for the morning so I was optimistic about the appointment. A blood test, parasite test, and an anti-malarial check are performed to identify We gave him an antibiotic and he began to look and act better after the saline shot and salivation. At the end of the second day of antibiotics, he was 80% better. The following week, I discovered that he still had fleas and larvae all over him, so I made him a flea bath in the shower after waiting a week. As for the end of my story, he is now at 100% and is just as sweet and loving as he used to be. In the future, I will feed him as much wet cat food as he will eat. It seems to be a hit with him. do not seem to be an issue anymore, so I'm not sure if it was the drops or the second flea bath that got rid of them.

This doesn't work
3/5

THREATEN THE INFESTATION OF THE HOME WITH ANNOYING FLEAS! In general, I do not write reviews, but this one deserves it in a big way. It is my pleasure to have two cats at home. The girl is approximately 6 months old and lives indoors only. The boy is one year old and is both indoors and outdoors. At two weeks, I dosed them AGAIN and I STILL have fleas a week and a half after I dosed them for the third time. Keep in mind that I live in South Florida, in a home made of 100% tile. Throughout my house, there are at least four rugs that have dozens of fleas on them. A beautiful shag rug in white has now been destroyed since hundreds of tiny fleas can be seen all over it when shining the flashlight in the iphone. Frontline Plus was okay, but weighed against this garbage, it is off the charts. During the time they were in my house, I never saw a single flea, but I did see them scratching themselves from time to time. I took this to mean that they must have scratched fleas, and that's why I thought everything was fine. So miserable is my baby girl cat that she jumped on top of the kitchen counter so that she can get off the floor and away from the fleas! Although this product might deserve ZERO STARS, I can't give it a ONE STAR rating.

It's better to get Revolution from your vet instead of Advantage II
3/5

It's a pity that Advantage II is so bad. My other cat and I both got a kitten a few days ago, and I noticed her having fleas, so I gave them both Advantage II to avoid In theory, it should kill all live fleas and all other worms within 12 hours. But after 3 days, my kitten still carries a full worm burden A live flea infection has infected one of my cats and the itching is beginning on the other cat. My vet just prescribed Revolution to my cats, but I can't give them that medication for another week because they may experience adverse effects if they combine them. Therefore, Advantage II has pretty much made a flea infestation inevitable because it didn't work, and I have to wait a week before I can treat the source. To be honest, if I were you, I would go to your veterinarian and ask for Revolution. While it is more expensive, it is more effective. You will not have to go through what I have to.

I haven't been able to access the last three boxes! It is a brand I have used for years on my great dane and my cat
3/5

I am pleased with how it has worked. For the past 3 months, I've never received any help from the boxes I've purchased for my cat and new kitten! When I put it on them, it seems to make fleas die off for a little while (first week) then it picks right back up again. I'm talking about laying on a cover for 10 min, and when they get up, they have a BUNCH of little black speckles (flea larvae that bite/itch) all over the cover. In addition, they begin scratching immediately after application, about 1 and a half weeks later. It seemed like the first box of three might have been a bad batch. I got it right away after I bought my new kitten a kitten dose box. Seeing that it was not working, I thought I should try getting it for a small dose for cats. I've also tried it again and it doesn't seem to work. The stuff you have is not supposed to expire, but I don't know what's been going on lately with that. The answer is not known to me. There was a lot of money spent on something that isn't working, when I know it can work (at least in the past).
