Questions & Answers

Are fleas just affected by this, or are ticks as well?

Fleas and ticks will be gone very easily with this product.

What percentage of the body of a cat is covered by this product?

To stop the dog from licking off the product, you are instructed to apply it to the skin behind the neck. I have not been pleased with the results on my cats, even though it is supposed to be effective for the whole body. It does not kill the fleas, but it still gets them on the head.

If I have a cat that weighs about 30 pounds, will one tube be suitable or will I need more?

It's a good idea to start with one, and then add more if it doesn't work after a week. Chemicals take up a lot of energy, so the less they use Due to the fact that we aren't having an issue with fleas, one dose lasts about six months for my cat who weighs 20 pounds.

I have a black and white cat with white specks His arms and legs don't seem to itch since he is not scratching. Would it be possible to tell me what this is?

The skin of some cats may appear dry or flaky, and the flakes or dandruff may be visible. Most cats have dandruff, but it is usually very obvious when they have *br>If its an ongoing issue, look into dry skin treatment or dandruff products for cats. That's just my experience so I can't guarantee that it's the cause but if you are unsure take it to the vet.

It's a good thing Advantage II exists! It is a six-month fix In spite of Fontline's efforts to eliminate the flea infestation, the infestation continued
5/5

My dog had an awful flea problem for the first time in years last year. There was no measurable difference in the effectiveness of Frontline-substitute (whatever they sold in Walmart that supposedly had the same chemical). In that case, I purchased real Frontline, which didn't work. From what I could tell, he did nothing to help. I have six cats, so every attempt with these various products is pretty expensive (remember, I am crazy and have been cursed with six cats). The Advantage II was like I had always wanted it (don't worry, I didn't want to try the generic equivalent at this point), and it worked just as well as the generic version. We have just ordered some more for this summer so we don't have to worry about a repeat of last Furthermore, only one of six cats that live with me goes outside at all, and only for short periods of time, but even so, it didn't take much time for one cat to get fleas and spread them to the others. It was a Advantage II, thank you very much. **Also included.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO YOU OR Our cat weighs 20 pounds, and we received this flea medicine yesterday
3/5

He started acting strange after I applied the medicine a couple of hours after I applied it to him. the next day (the next day after applying the medicine) that he has bald spots where I applied the medicine. On the packaging, it says the hair can fall out of your cat. The product is so terrible that I wish I could give it.

I'll tell you from the start that it's the best brand at the best price
5/5

You can put almost anything on a cat's fur and he will hate it. Hartz Advantage II is the most popular flea medicine, not just in Amazon ratings, but also after testing over ten different flea medicines. Please DO NOT use any other brand except Frontline (kills adult fleas) as other brands may cause seizures, drooling, and other things you do not want your pet to go The symptoms of both my cats following treatment include extreme upset and inability to groom for 2 to 3 days following treatment, regardless of the brand. On the box, it clearly states that this product kills adult fleas most other products do not, and would state it right on the front of the box. While some brands have adults that hop around biting anyone who gets close. It stops the adult fleas from moving immediately after treatment, so they cannot jump off the pet during treatment (there is one competitor brand that also uses flea paralysis). In addition to killing fleas instantly, flea paralyzers also stop the eggs from hatching. Additionally, this treatment gets rid of any possible fleas in the cat's sleeping areas, as well as on its coat if stray fleas are later found. A flea can live for up to a year as an adult. It has never taken me more than 3 treatments spaced out 2 to 3 weeks apart to solve the issue. There were most often two treatments required because neither of my cats goes outside, but I bring fleas back home from the home of others via my shoes and As a result of this treatment, one of the cats barfed a little after eating on day 2. It came from the medicine getting into their mouth while grooming. There was only one downside, and it was behavioral changes related to grooming. Placement of the litter box was vital, and it was important to observe the cats for some time. On the first day, try to prevent multiple pets from grooming one another. I have found the only effective method I have found to completely eliminate fleas and have things back to normal by day 4. It's not in the cats' best interests, but it's the way I have found to eliminate fleas and get things back to normal by day 4. There were too many complicated instructions in the presentation, so I took a star off. You may have to throw up dinner if your cat goes through it.

You can keep it out of your cat's mouth if you want it to work
4/5

I disclaim everything! This stuff is not to be licked by your cat. If you want to apply it, make sure you put it high up on the shoulder blade where your cat will find it difficult to reach, and let your cat be with you for about an hour to make sure that it does not The cat started salivating like it was having a seizure after getting some of this on its tongue. I was scared out of my wits after watching the video. Once he was okay, it was all over. However, even with all of that, this product does an incredible job. Frontline uses the same ingredient as Advantage II, but it had no effect on Thunder Kitty within 24 hours of using it. Advantage II, though, had a 95% flea-free record within 24 hours. It's likely he will pick up new fleas here and there, so I'll say 95 percent. All in all, you can't ask for more than that. You must not allow your cat to lick this stuff!.

Worked for me! A quick solution for getting fleas off of my 14lb Russian Blue with a dense double coat, this works well
5/5

Although the fleas tend to come back because our neighbors insist on feeding stray cats and it looks like a cat sanctuary next door, I've ordered them twice through Amazon and both times they've worked. Whenever my cat itches, I immediately brush him with a toothbrush and a damp cloth.

This is an amazing product
5/5

Advantage ll was the first time we used it. The first time in a long time that our cat experienced fleas in this bad of a way. His face has mostly white features and he is mostly black and white. His face looked bad because the marks could be seen on it. Our only choice was to treat him for what he was doing, hoping to get him some relief quickly. The flea control products we have purchased have always been from our vet (at a higher price). In order to redeem my gift cards from Amazon, I was looking for our regular product to use my limited funds. Without a doubt, this product is not available here, so I did some research and read We are glad we took the risk of trying it! As I said, I was afraid of wasting money ( Okay. Gift cards) on something that might not perform. I found this product to be amazing, and I still believe it is! It was immediately obvious the fleas were dropping off of him after the application. There is very little training required to use it. If you're applying it, be sure you put it high enough up on the back or nape of the neck so your pet cannot lick it off. You can apply it directly onto the skin so move the fur aside. Squeeze the tube until it is gone. Simply keep a watchful eye on them to make sure it is out of their reach. If you aren't sure it is, just watch closely for a bit. The animal does not even try to lick the hair As a result of the treatments, using salt on the carpets, vacuuming every day, and emptying the canister as soon as it had built up, we were able to get things back to normal in a couple of A second dos was used the following month, and fleas have been kept at bay so far. We are probably going to stick with Advantage ll for the time being. The item shipped rapidly and arrived before its estimated arrival date, making all of us.
