It isn't made of steel or ceramic. It isn't made of a thin, pliable plastic. It's made of a thick, lustrous, solid plastic that has some weight to it. It's very nice, and according to the website's description, it's made of BPA-free Melamine.
The location of the product's manufacture is not specified.
This bowl isn't suitable for cats who eat at a leisurely pace. Another bowl that is designed to solve this problem is the Asian, which is B07PJJTL64 and can be found on Amazon.
I've never had an issue heating my cat's food in the microwave for about 25 seconds. Over 25- I don't know how long 30 seconds is.

These are fantastic bowls! These are some of my favorite dishes! I was initially disappointed because I assumed they were supposed to be ceramic (apparently I didn't read the product description carefully enough). I'm glad they're melamine after a few unintentional kicks; they're super cute and easy to clean. The sun-dried Wet kitty food is easily soaked off, and I then toss them in the dishwasher. They appear to be in excellent condition. I also like how the bottoms have rubber on them so they don't slip around on the floor. Now that I've read the description again, I see that they're just as good as the seller claimed. They come highly recommended from me!.
These new bowls are a big hit with my kitties. My cats are outdoor cats, not indoor cats, so I wanted something made of plastic or acrylic rather than ceramic. Most of the saucers I've found to reduce whisker fatigue are ceramic, which is great for indoor cats but not so great for outdoor cats, especially with the unpredictable weather and rough terrain. A lot of the plastic options I'd found are too thin and flimsy and will blow away in a strong wind (no joke). These bowls are ideal for my kitties, who adore them. br>br>They're no longer picking food off the mat to eat (which is a terrible idea when they're outside! The less of a food-borne illness they have, the better!). The more print there is, the better, especially when fighting ants and other critters attracted to residue. They eat the food right out of the bowl (which is something they didn't do with the high-fat food). bowls with multiple sides). br>br>Because they don't have the edges and creases that bowls with sides do (which make them extremely difficult to clean thoroughly), the bowls are incredibly easy to clean. br>br>Both the size and the material used to make them are ideal. br>br>I particularly like how these bowls have small feet that keep them from being flush with the ground. We've had a few strong winds and some roughhousing, and these bowls have held up admirably. This was an excellent buy!.
I didn't want to buy another ceramic bowl with the same problem, but I also didn't want to buy regular plastic bowls because they had caused allergies in my previous cats. I needed bowls that were simple to clean twice a day and low enough to eat from. I wasn't looking for cute bowls at all, but I struck gold when I came across these. I was able to find everything I needed and more! Now I don't have to worry about one of my cats pushing her bowl off the counter because I'm feeding them separately. br>I've had these bowls for about two months and I'm in love with them - I'm not sure I could go back to the ceramic ones. They're great for wet foods - I put about 1/4 of a 3oz can in there, then add some warm water and mix it all together to make a soup that the cats can eat. It's never leaked from the bowls - not once. These are incredibly simple to hand-wash, and the cats eat their food far more frequently as a result. They don't have to fight their way through the insides of bowls to get the last few bites of their wet food. I'm overjoyed that these will become a permanent part of my cats' lives!.
Chai, the bottom of the bowl has rubber fittings, making it less likely for a kitten or cat to push around while eating. Bowls are plastic but of excellent quality, hold dry crunches and soft food (not easily pushed out of bowl), and have a wide design to prevent whisker fatigue. I adore these bowls; they're so cute and perfect for our kitten and cat lovers alike! I would strongly suggest it. I've received so many compliments on our bowls that people are telling their friends about them and purchasing them for themselves. You will not be disappointed if you purchase EM.
first and foremost - They are a big hit with our cat! The large size isn't overly large, and it's just the right width to give an adult cat's whiskers enough "breathing room" near the bowl's sides while still allowing the bowl's contours to keep the food from sliding away while eating. The non-slip feet are excellent at what they do. Have I mentioned how adorable the bowls are?.
After eating from these dishes, both of my cats became very sick. Even though they aren't labeled as such, they are TOXIC, and I don't want anyone else to go through what we did.
I'm not sure if the claim of "whisker fatigue" is true. I am aware that she enjoys the bowls. I also appreciate the fact that they can be washed in the dishwasher. However, the rubbery tips on the feet have recently started to come off, which could be due to the dishwasher. Remember that cats, like humans, have personalities and viewpoints. One of my cats refuses to eat from them. I'll have to re-use the stainless steel bowls we used before.
