Questions & Answers
The package specifies a period of seven months. I have no idea how long our cats have been indoor cats. Every year, we switch things up.
On my 6 pound miniature poodle, I used it. The collar, on the other hand, proved to be ineffective. She was stung by several ticks. I gave it back to you.
Because some of the powder may fall off when you first stretch it out of the box. When the cat licks it and people touch it, it is perfectly safe. There have been no issues for me. Kids love coming to see and play with my cat because I live in an apartment. There has never been an issue.
I'm not selling this product; I bought it on Amazon and just wrote a review about it; I used this flea collar on a stray cat I rescued in July, and it worked for him; he is an outside cat who came with two or three ticks on his head, and after two days of wearing the flea and tick collar, the ticks fell off his head; he lives outside and has no fleas or ticks; and this collar is a lot less expensive than others; so

My cat got chemical burn after wearing his tick collar for about two weeks.
My roommate is a vet nurse, so after we put it on, he checked the box to see what ingredients were used because he knew which ones were starting to lose their effectiveness, and it turns out that this particular brand uses something that is unsafe for humans but probably not the best for kitties and puppers. We hadn't properly activated the collar, so no harm came to us, but don't make the same mistake I did.
Cat wore this for 9 days until I noticed it. It'd be better if there were fleas.
I tried this a few weeks after failing to get rid of fleas with some drops, and even after numerous baths, the cats still had a serious flea problem. Allow a few days, according to the box, and it will last for seven months. To give it a chance, I left the collar on for a month, and fleas were still jumping around near it.
again. Alternatively, you could pay to have them flea-dipped multiple times. It's easy to spend a lot of money on crud! I recommend purchasing this collar and applying coconut oil once a month to your pets. Cover your floors and furniture with baking powder [from the dollar store to save money] for an hour while you're doing the coconut oil treatment, then vacuum it up. It takes time and effort, but there is no quick fix for fleas in your home or on your pets. There are three cats and two dogs in my household. We tried dipping them and bombing the house twice, which I swear made the fleas worse and made the house stink even worse. My advice was far more effective. After three months, the house appeared to be free of them, and after five months, the pets stopped scratching.
So far, it's performed exactly as expected; I've had my pet in it for a week and a half, and she's reduced her scratching by 95%, despite the fact that our carpet is still infested! I'm blown away! It's above and beyond 5 dollars for so much relief for my fur baby. I'll keep buying these, thanks Hartz, though I forgot to mention that I bought two of them, one for my house cat and one for my adopted neighborhood tomcat, and one was broken right out of the box, the buckle is very flimsy and could be improved! However, it's worth ten dollars just for the difference in my house's kittyexhibits. For ten dollars, you can go from unhappy to mostly content. It was well worth the effort. br>br>As a result, I feel compelled to bring this review up to date. My cat started sleeping all the time and no longer cuddled with me, and then I heard her wheeze for the first time, which she had never done before. Then I noticed her with her head dangling from the table, as if she were dead or unconscious. She was simply sleeping so deeply that she was completely limp and sluggish in waking up. It alarmed me, so I did some research and discovered that flea collars should not be used on kittens, sick animals, or the elderly. Heavy doses of poison are constantly absorbed into your baby's skin while they are wearing them, and even a few weeks later if they are not thoroughly bathed. My cat is 13 years old, so I decided to take off her collar and give her a thorough bath. She went back to being herself. She was back to her semi-energetic, lovey self in a matter of days. Lol. As a result, I would advise you to consider the cost-benefit ratio as well as the age and health of your pet.
A 13-year-old tabby and a young calico. They were mostly flea-free after a week, and there were none after another week. I didn't find the colors to be harmful or cause any skin issues; they simply did what they were supposed to do. Perhaps some of the negative comments implied that the fleas were the ones who got the short end of the stick. They say they're good for seven months on the packaging, but I've decided to replace them every three months. My cats are out in the fenced-in back yard flower garden with me for the past four months. They haven't shown any signs of fleas or other pests, however.
After using this collar, our cats developed chemical burns as well. br>I have no idea why this product is still available.
