It doesn't smell, as far as I can tell.
No, I believe that any active animal can easily shed this collar within days due to the latch, as I have seen in five of my seven cats. Don't throw your money away.
It's way too big for a kitten; I had to cut mine down to about 1/4 of its original size to fit my kitten.
They will be able to do so after 12 weeks.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MUCH MORE! First and foremost, this review is genuine; there are no embellishments! br>br>I put this collar on my one-year-old cat, which I received last week. She went into a rage and began hiding. She also refused to eat, and her breathing became "whispy. " I took her to the vet, and she was diagnosed with a 104. Because of the high fever, I was unable to perform any shots. The doctor diagnosed the cat with an upper respiratory infection and prescribed oral antibiotics to be given twice daily to the cat. The cat didn't do anything but hide and lay around for a day. I was trying to figure out what was causing this bizarre behavior when I remembered my negative review of this cheap flea collar. Now I wish I had paid attention to the negative feedback! br>br>Now comes the crazy part: God's unadulterated truth. She actually followed me into the other room and stopped hiding after I removed the collar and wiped her neck with a damp cloth. and began acting like a "playful curious cat" right away. All of this happened in less than two minutes after I removed it. Her demeanor shifted dramatically, and she nearly finished the bowl of food she was given. She's been playing and running around everywhere for the past 5 hours since I took it off. THIS CAT IS NOT THE SAME AS THE ONE IN THE PICTURE! Now pay attention to this. I awoke less than 5 minutes after going to bed (yes, I got up to write this review!). )br>br>This morning, I discovered a small chunk of meat with hair on it on my bed, where she had been. Can you figure out where it came from? Her neck! Right where the collar used to be. And no, this was not a tense situation. My cat's neck had no sharp or tight points. This stupid collar, I'm convinced, is to blame for everything! br>br>Though it may appear exaggerated and dramatic, this is the truth as it is revealed by God! Check out the image below! br>br>I am not easily irritated, but this is beyond ridiculous. Please do not purchase this item, as shown in the images below.
I bought this for my cat, and the first two days he wore it, he became extremely irritable. I'm not sure if it was the collar in particular, or if he already had fleas that were biting him because of the collar. I removed the collar, which I then threw away, and he stopped acting out. When he wore it, he hissed and howled and was generally unpleasant to be around. Having said that, it's possible it wasn't the collar, but I wouldn't order it again.
My cat's neck was burned. When I was petting her, a clump of her fur escaped from around her neck. The sight of a red ring with raw skin where the flea collar used to be startled me. It's a good thing I noticed it when I did. I discovered I wasn't the only one who felt this way. Hartzvictims is a term used to describe people who have been victims of the org. signatures on the petition.
According to what I've read, some cats have had negative reactions to this, but my cat hasn't had any.
They have a foul odor. And I believe they were too strong for my older cat, because after three days of wearing it, she stopped eating, became exhausted, and died. Before buying a flea collar, please do your homework. Because I didn't, and I lost a great friend as a result. Flea collars are absorbed into the bloodstream of your pet. I'd give zero stars if I could.
This flea and tick collar had a very good price-to-value ratio. Compared to other collars, it was significantly less expensive. I would have given it five stars if not for the fact that the plastic buckle had broken. I would have given a there-start rating if I hadn't been able to fix it with some soft wire.
My 14-year-old golden retriever began vomiting and refusing to eat after six days. The collar was taken off. Three days later, he passed away. My six-month-old lab began to foam at the mouth after six days. The collar was taken off. She had diarrhea for two days but is now in good health. My 8-year-old cat became ill as a result of the feline collar, and she hasn't eaten in a week, puking, and hiding.
For around three weeks, it seemed to work. My cats, on the other hand, were able to remove their collars on their own. Because they're inside/outside in the forest cats, I put them on loose. They discovered a ring of hair missing after removing the collars. br>I'm now reverting to drops because it's not cooling at all. And for the first few days, the scent is quite strong. br> I'm starting to wonder if I shouldn't have removed the collars myself. Fleas on my pets, on the other hand, irritate me.
