The only drawback is using a dark color on a light-colored cat. If I hadn't considered the shedding factor, I would go with a lighter color.

The same can be said for the size and location of the opening. br>br>My 4-year-old son, Jax, More beds have been passed over by pawed, furry little boy. I could actually watch him look from bed to sleeping pad to bedroom door from more sleeping spots than I can count, leaving his fur on every seating place in my living room, behind my platform bed in the only area I can't get to, and in three places in my home office. Then he walked back and forth toward the office door, trying to figure out where he was going to nap.   I'm always wary of pet toys and furniture, but I figured she'd like this because she's a fearful feline. She likes to hide under the couch and bed, so this was a natural fit for her. My buddy is in love with his new cat cave; he jumped right in when I opened it, and I threw some catnip in there, and he was rolling around inside and purring like a kitten! For comparison, I'm wearing a medium, and my cat weighs 10 pounds and has a long body shape. He fits well in there; if he were a few pounds heavier, I would have ordered a large, but he does, and there is plenty of room. I would definitely recommend it!.

niece.   I bought it for Minnie, my sister's kitty, who had recently lost her kitty-sister. brother. They used to snuggle a lot, and now that she's an only cat, she's lost. I purchased the medium-sized cat. It's the right size for her, too. She immediately checked it out when I brought it over, and she was inside and inspecting the entire space within 30 seconds of me opening it up. She became enthralled and ran out of it, only to turn around and run back in. My sister claims that she hasn't left the cave in days, even when a mouse broke into their house—Minnie sat half-inside her cave, staring at the spot behind the bookcase where the rodent had taken refuge.
