Questions & Answers
The medium measures 10" x 18" and has two Velcro strips that run from side to side.
It's made of the same stuff as the carrier's liner. It's made of a material that looks like wool, but it's not.
Both short ends of the liner have hook and loop (velcro) strips. Thank you very much!
I recommend that you go to Sherpa's website and obtain their contact information so that you can inquire. I'm not sure what I'm saying.

I double-checked to make sure I had the right size and model/type of carrier. The product's cardboard wrap also states that it is intended to be a match for the large original deluxe Sherpa pet carrier. That is a complete fabrication. The size is similar but not identical, but the main issue is that you can't get both velcro strips to attach at the same time, and even one attaching doesn't cover the entire hard plastic base because of where they're placed. As other reviewers have mentioned, the faux lambswool appears to be of lower quality, being thinner and less cushioned.
Our dog's carrier matches the mats in terms of brand. After almost six years, I finally had to replace the mat. The replacement was required due to him scaffolding in it; the version that I purchased appears to be slightly thinner, but it is manufactured by the same company as our carrier and the previous may.
Because our cat gets nervous in transit to the vet, for example, our sherpa has seen some wear, and the first one unfortunately suffered from some leaky kitty action, and it was too late to save it. Thankfully, the bag itself did not get wet due to the material that lines the underside. These are genuine Sherpa carrier liners, and with two spares included, they're a great deal.
It is extremely popular among cats. Use in a carrier, on a cat tree, or anywhere else your cat enjoys sleeping. Although it appears to be narrow, it is large enough to accommodate my cat. It's a hit with Cat!.
The Velcro is on the end rather than the center, which is my only complaint. They were excellent value for the money; they are thick and plush, and the cat enjoys them. They're well-made, and I expect to use them for quite some time.
I like that they come in a set of two in case their carrier has an accident.
I used these a lot with my puppy litter; I actually had two groups of four sewn together and changed them out as needed. The velcro stayed perfectly in place on the whelping box liner. They were a great help, and the puppies enjoyed laying on them! They also enjoyed chewing on them as they grew older. LOL.
These pads are Velcro-attached to the Sherpa carrier's interior. They create a cozy, non-smoking atmosphere. For your pet's safety, use a slick surface. They aren't, however, wee wee pads. Although they are absorbent and washable, the poor animal would be sitting in its own urine because the liner only absorbs liquids rather than containing them. If you're worried about an accident, try DryFur inserts on top.
