My cat became ill and lost a lot of weight as a result of it. Although she was improving, I had noticed that she appeared to be cold. I'm always curled up in a ball, crawling up to my neck for warmth, and sitting at my laptop. Today, I received this package. Put some catnip on it to pique her interest, and she hasn't moved since! I haven't seen her sit so comfortably in a long time!br>I gave it one star because it was brown, not blue, and didn't match the decor.

I spoke with the company, and they sent out the new upgraded version, which I couldn't be more pleased with. They were incredibly pleasant to work with, and eager to make things right. I've never dealt with a business that went out of its way to assist its customers. I'm giving it a five-star rating! br>br>I bought two of these for a chewer who also needs warmth. I thought this product would be ideal, but she chewed the cord completely through on the first day of use. My dog would have been killed if the circuit breaker hadn't tripped! This makes me extremely angry. If you have a chewing dog, do not purchase this product; instead, upgrade to this one.

This heating pad is a big hit with my garage cat! Before I gave it to him, I tested it on my feet to see if it got too hot, and it didn't. It was ideal, and I enjoyed it as well! It's a good size, and my cat can lounge on half of it or all of it, as he has on several occasions. It is delivered quickly by the company, and if you have Prime, you will receive it within two days. The company will also contact you on a number of occasions to ensure that you are happy with the product. I'm serious about it, and I'm going to tell my daughter about it for her garage cats.

Teddy, my older cat, was the recipient of this warming pat. He has a muscle problem in his hip, and the vet recommended that he use heat to treat it. Another customer used catnip to get their cat to use the pad, according to what I read. This was the first thing I tried, and it only took me a minute. Every day, he sleeps on the pad, almost always with his sore hip facing the pad. I believe the heat is assisting him because he is no longer limping and trembling in pain. My younger cat has begun to use it as well, I noticed the other day. They could share if necessary because I purchased the large size. It would be difficult, but not impossible. It makes me so happy when I can bring joy to my pets.

Our cat, like many others, prefers to keep the box in which the item was purchased. But this winter, we noticed he was frequently upset, crying to us for reasons that were not immediately apparent - There was no food, water, or petting involved. He didn't want any of his usual items. I began to wonder if, as he grew older, he was becoming more achy as the weather became colder and rainier. I figured if he had something warm to curl up with, he'd feel better, but I was afraid he'd never use it. br>br>After looking through various versions of these pet heating pads on Amazon, I decided on this one, and when we got it home, I set it up in the corner of the living room that he's claimed as his. I'll admit that on the first day, I completely cheated. I got some of his favorite 'calming blend' catnip and sprinkled it on the pad, hoping he'd at least TRY to get on it. At the very least, that got him to step on it. br>br>It took him about twenty-four hours to give in. Perhaps a little less. The allure of this Magical Warm Spot appeared to be strong enough to overcome his natural aversion to showing any interest in something that had been purchased for him. br>br>Now he's on it all of the time! It's turned into one of his go-to napping spots. He likes it so much that when he walks over it, he often seems to forget where he was going and just sort of stop there, appearing at first as if he intends to keep going, but quickly morphing into simply sitting on the pad. When he feels the Warm Spot again, whatever else he has on his mind fades into the background. There's no more mysterious crying and distress (we're back to our usual demands), and he's even more playful, so I'm guessing he was just experiencing those all-too-common aches that come with getting older. He's much happier, we're relieved that he's more comfortable, and it's been one of the best purchases I've made in a long time. br>br>A quick cleaning note: It's easy to remove the cover and wash it. For something with a fuzzy texture, the fur vaccuumed off of it surprisingly easily. It is also water-resistant. He put that to the test by drinking a lot of water and then realizing he needed to get rid of a hairball. That, I'd say, was a fair test of the pad's cleanability. It doesn't appear to be damaged in any way. br>br>For a review, I almost never say, "Just buy it. " But, honestly, if our cat likes it and it hasn't caused us any problems in months, it has to be one of the few purchases I haven't regretted. He likes it, he feels better about himself, he uses it, and it wasn't too expensive. I'm not sure how much more could be asked.

For my outdoor kennel, I purchased this pad. The pad is made of very durable materials. It appears to be very well made. It's made out of a tough plastic. lays flat to perfection. I used it inside the dog house, under the dog's foam bed, because it has a nice, long wire-protected, heavy-duty cord. It's the perfect temperature for my Shih-tzu. Tzus. They are no longer bothered by being in the kennel. In fact, I'm having to entice them out of their kennel. Over the years, I've experimented with a variety of outdoor warming pads for my pets. This is the best one I've bought so far, especially for the price.
