BUT. This item was made in China. br>With mine, I've never had any issues.
You can clean the pet heating pad cover, so you can do so on a regular basis. It is impossible to clean the sponge inside.
The wattage of this pet heating pad is 19 W and the voltage is 120V.
My heating pad is tucked away in the corner of my cat bed. I'd put something underneath the cage for a hedgehog, perhaps a double folded towel? My cat bed's heat is evenly distributed throughout the layers and maintains a consistent temperature. Everything is in place!

This is in my insulated outdoor feral cat house (it's out of the weather), and the cats seem to enjoy it (I have two pads). The cord is guarded against being chewed on or pinched. It does not turn off once it is plugged in. It doesn't get too hot in here. My first one is now in its third year, indicating that they are well-made.
I needed something for my garage cat, who doesn't have much else to keep him company, and your product fit the bill perfectly. I adore this little cat, and I adore your product!.
I decided to buy this heating pad after reading the reviews of a few others. It's something I use to care for newborn kittens. This item has proven to be ideal for keeping them toasty warm! I put it under a soft blanket so they can curl up with it. I adore that it doesn't have an automatic shut-off feature. It turns on and stays on all day, providing constant warmth. It has one temperature setting dedicated to animals, which is fantastic! As a result, I believe that this heating pad is a far safer option than a basic heating pad with multiple settings. This heating pad is by far my favorite; I no longer use the one I was previously using and have no plans to do so in the future.
Don't believe the skeptics; this thing works, and my big cat adores it. It keeps him warm on those cold winter nights. I'm sorry I didn't get this for him sooner!.
Ugly. However, everything is fine. This was purchased to replace a previously purchased item. It appeals to my cat, but she frequently moves away from it. It gets too hot in here, I believe. I covered it with a towel. This was extremely beneficial. I doubled the towel, which made a difference. Despite this, she continues to move away from it.
Perhaps a bit excessive! My cat was enamored with the warmth provided by this pad. He works as a super mouser in the abandoned house next door. I purchased the pad in order to keep him warm. When I placed him on it, he immediately began purring. He was always on his warm pad when I checked on him. br>br>I was petting him about a week after I bought it for him and noticed he had matted hair on his belly. I was surprised to discover two blisters/sores on his chest when I turned him over; I checked him over and found no other sores. His skin appeared to be blistered as a result of his constant use of the pad. I unplugged the pad and began treating the burn, and I'm pleased to report that he is healing well and is free of infection. The heat pad was warm when it was plugged in - not hot. br>I can't say it will cause your pet to burn, but I would recommend checking it regularly and asking your pet's veterinarian if it's safe.
It gets extremely hot and refuses to cool down. It's too hot for even my heat-seeking elderly Siamese to lay on. It has a nice cord and a nice cover, but it isn't thermostatically controlled at all.
This heating pad isn't working for me- The description claims that it has temperature control, but it does not. I threw it out, but I saved the cover, which I used to cover another heating pad with a temperature control.
