Thank you for your inquiry; however, pets weighing more than 35 pounds are not recommended.
Please accept my apologies; I have no idea. We haven't used this item with our kittens yet. They were delivered to an animal rescue that we support, and I'm guessing they'll be fine with Maine Coons, which typically weigh over twenty pounds and can weigh up to 35 pounds. I hope you found this information to be beneficial.
It could be, but it has metal latch hooks on each end that could bang around; it could be stuffed into an old pillow case. It is, without a doubt, machine washable.
Yes, I believe so. I looked up a Kinkajou on the internet, and it appears to be about the same size as my cat.

For the fosters to stay in until they are ready to explore the rest of the house, we have a three-level crate/cage. A small feral cat may be found in a large dog crate on rare occasions. These hammocks have been fantastic because they are large and have easily adjustable straps. They were extremely helpful in providing additional resting areas for the cats. I've had to replace three of the four hammocks I bought in the last few months due to wear and tear. Because we had VERY active kittens wrestling, I had hoped the previous two were just a fluke. Jumping on and off of them is a common occurrence. The hammock that broke today, on the other hand, had only been used for a few weeks by a slumbering small cat. The latch also failed, as did the others. If you plan to use this product with heavy or active pets, or in a space that is higher than a foot off the ground, I would not recommend it. It's a shame, because if the latches were consistently secure, I'd be writing a five-star review right now.
These arrived yesterday, and I am very pleased with them. I've bought nearly every hammock on the market, and the majority of them have already broken! To keep them in place, I began using zip ties. These are sturdy and attractive, and they're larger than most, which is ideal for my cat rescue organization. I highly recommend it, and I've already ordered four more!.
I had expected the straps to be longer, and I had intended to hang it under the bench seat next to the chair. It was, however, far too small. I'm not sure how it'd work hanging from the legs; I'm afraid it'd slip down. I'm afraid the metal clips would leave marks if you tried to tighten it around your legs? I can't say for sure because I didn't try. br>br>As a result, I simply hung it from the table's underside. Fortunately, everything appeared to be in order. I put my cat in it once, and she's gone back in it a few times since then (I only got it today, and it's only been set up for about 3 hours).
It looked great on my cat patio, and Jax enjoys lounging in it. Durable and simple to maintain. BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT I need to replace the strap because it has broken. It's possible that the issue is with the quality. It's the only one that fits in my apartment. It's a pity that two of them have already broken down.
As a Christmas present, I purchased this for my pet rabbit. Despite the fact that it is labeled as a cat hammock, it can be used by other animals. The only issue is that my pet rabbit has yet to become accustomed to it. Neither do I believe she will in the future. Who knows what will happen if I keep trying to get her to sit on it for long enough. It's possible that she'll like it. br>Back before Covid 19, I used to go to pet stores that used to rescue cats and see them all lounging on these mini beds. How cute. Maybe cats and rabbits aren't the same when it comes to such things. br>I'm hoping for a good outcome. Hopefully, it will become more comfortable for her over time than a hard cage's bottom. The only way to find out is to wait.
UPDATE: The hammock isn't being used by either of my two cats. My cats don't seem to mind other types of beds, so I don't think the hammock is to blame. So, for the time being, I'm going to take it out and put it away. I had used gardening Velcro tape to extend the straps by making a loop that went around each leg and the nearest D ring (see original review below) and it worked great. I kept the longer straps and clips attached in case I needed them in the future. br>PRIMARY REVIEW: I chose this hammock over others because it had the best surface (one side slightly fuzzy, the other nylon), fasteners (sturdy metal clips for a cage or wrap around to the D rings, which are made of a no-mar material), and fasteners (sturdy metal clips for a cage or wrap around to the D rings, which are made of a no-mar material). I am very pleased with my purchase. To fit this under the side table my cat has chosen, I'll need to extend the strap length with some cloth loops, which I'll gladly do with the existing clips and rings. At their full length, I expected and hoped that the included straps would be a few inches longer. However, if the strap is too long, it may be difficult to install in cages or other chairs.
I purchased this hammock in the hopes that it would entice my cats to abandon their fight over the cat bed. My cats, on the other hand, were adamant about not using it. I should have paid attention to the reviews because one of the top metal clips snapped after only 10 days, and my cats had barely used it. The clips on this hammock are cheap and easily break, despite the fact that it appears to be well-made. br>I will say that when I emailed the seller, they were fantastic. I told them the clip had broken and requested a refund or replacement, and they emailed me back the next day and immediately refunded the money, no questions asked.
Ferrets will love it! Don't be deterred by the negative feedback. I've had this hammock for a few years and am about to place an order for a second one in blue for my other cage. This is by far the most durable hammock I've ever purchased for them. It fits three big boys perfectly, and my little albino girl can snuggle in there as well. No, this isn't the thickest, warmest hammock on the market, but if you have ferrets, you know how snuggly they are. If it's just a single ferret, a piece of fleece blanket can always be stuffed in there. br>br>Easy to clean; unlike other hammocks, it does not break in the dryer. In my 6 years of owning ferrets, this is without a doubt the best bedding accessory I've ever given them.
