And by instantly, I mean the second day we got it because it came with a strange odor that went away after a few days. She enjoys it, however. This was purchased to replace all of the gaudy Amazon boxes we keep around for her because she adores boxes. After a while, we started tripping over boxes and finding box bits all over the place, and we looked around and thought to ourselves, "omg, there's cardboard everywhere," so we decided it was time to get her a proper box. This is the option we went with, and it's fantastic. br>br>She prefers to sit and sleep on the top part, and I believe she prefers to be more level with us when we're on the couch. She can't get enough of the teeny-tiny bonbons. The handle holes have bons in them- To her, they're as addictive as crack; She just swats them away as soon as they catch her eye. She goes inside now and then, but I haven't seen her sleep or stay in there for very long, despite the fact that she usually enjoys being in places like that. It's possible that will happen in the future. But, overall, we like this box because it appears to be very comfortable, sturdy, and entertaining. Bonus points for being able to use it as an ottoman when she isn't using it.
