It's 24" long and sits right under my window sill. I'd prefer it to be 26" tall so that it could sit right on the window sill, but the cats don't seem to mind!
The diameter of the perch is 16 inches. I apologize for taking so long to respond to your query. Every day, I receive a large number of them.
The 24" measurement refers to the distance between the floor and the upper bed's highest point. It is approximately 21" from the ground to the upper bed's floor.
There was no need to put it together. It was well-made and sturdy when it arrived.

I own three NCC products in total, and I adore each one. Each is extremely durable and can easily support the weight of my 14-pound, rambunctious 18-year-old. a kitten of one month old Not only is the cat bed structurally sound, but the fabric is also holding up well despite his habit of using every available surface as a scratching post/pad (he isn't declawed). After making the mistake of buying a 5' condo from a different brand (which not only required assembly, but also wobbled with even the slightest movement of my 7 lb. In the future, I will only purchase products from NCC.
AT ALL! I've been using this brand with our rescue kitties for years, so when we recently adopted a new one-year-old kitty, I naturally went back to it. What a letdown! I couldn't believe it when it arrived and my husband lifted it from the box and placed it on the table! The carpet is in no way comparable in terms of quality. Not by a long shot! It's the kind of carpet you'd find in a store that no one should really buy, but it's covering a cat tree! It's incredible. I vacuumed it all up, and while I'm used to finding a lot of loose threads and strings, this time there was a lot of loose carpet. Stella hadn't even begun to dig into it with her dainty little claws. She didn't want to stay in the top bed when she got there, so she hopped down to her favorite living room chair. She usually goes with the flow, but not this time, and we don't blame her; it's difficult on top of the poor carpet quality, and she wouldn't have it. Anyway, sigh, we just dropped it off at UPS to be returned. That part was, at the very least, straightforward. It's so sad when people reduce the value of a good product in order to increase their profits. That is indeed a sad situation.
This bed is a big hit with my cat. She enjoys curling up in it and sleeping in it, as she enjoys sleeping pressed up against the sides of things. She'll put in a half-day's effort. She wanted it to be in the shape of a moon so she could sleep in it. She doesn't care for the toy in the middle, but she enjoys walking through the posts and has recently begun to use the scratching part, which she likes because it is angled and allows her to stretch her front legs out while scratching. I chose the tan color, which is actually a light brown, but it goes well with my decor and hides her cat hair nicely. It's very sturdy, but when I'm on hard floors, I have to make sure it's against a wall or other structure, because it will shift if she jumps out or into it quickly.
This was only a few days ago when I got it, and it's never empty. I was expecting the feather toy to be ripped off right away. They haven't used the scratcher yet, but they are planning to do so soon. They're much more interested in curling up in the top and sleeping. I have a lot of cats, and they're all huge. One weighs around 20 pounds, while the other weighs around 16 pounds but is quite long. Both of them were able to get a good night's sleep on this. It arrived fully assembled and was light enough to be carried upstairs. The cats can jump from the floor to the perch because it isn't too high. I'm pleased with my purchase and would consider purchasing another.
My cats adore it because it is well-made. After receiving the first one, I went out and bought two more. My cats only sleep and sit in them by the window because they are made of sisal. Best cat pole ever, would highly recommend this brand; the carpeting could be better quality, but my cats don't scratch it; only the sisal is scratched. As you can see, I ordered a blue cat condo, which is now green. Petco demanded that I send a photo to prove that I was given green? Instead of sending me the item I ordered, they now want me to send it back for a refund. This was supposed to be a present for my daughter when she received her first kitten. br>I'm not sure I'll shop at Petco again. br>The tree itself is well-made and sturdy. br>Cats up to ten years old should probably fit in. Weight: 12 lbs.
I've purchased from this company before, and their cat condos are of exceptional quality. Very sturdy and well built; my previous item required some assembly, but this one did not. I'm glad I bought it, and my kitties seem to enjoy it, which is the most important factor. br>br>The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because I requested a gray condo but received a green one. It doesn't matter what color it is in my house; I still think it's a lovely piece, and my cats adore it. However, if you're trying to match your decor, keep in mind that the color you ordered might not be available. br>br>Also, the picture shows a "jingle ball" on a string, whereas mine is a feathery boa. br>br>So, despite the differences between what I ordered and the actual item, which there were, we love it and will keep it.
It wasn't weighted either, so it moved around with her. I needed something that was heavy enough to support her weight but not so heavy that it would shred. br>br>This product is of excellent quality; it is sturdy, comes fully assembled, and is exceptionally well constructed. Because of the plywood structure, the price is a little higher than others, but it's worth it if you want a long-lasting product. She jumped right on top of it and made herself at home.
