It's made of nylon, but it's firm and not at all "silky." It's a big hit with my cats, and neither of them claws at it. It's been about a year since I got mine, but it still looks brand new. This book comes highly recommended.
I don't think I've ever seen woven polyester before. This looks like nylon to me. My cat adores it, and she is currently sitting in it while I type. My cat joins me on my trips to see my family, and I bring her cube with me because it is one of her favorite things.
It's made of nylon. It isn't made of paper. It's very popular among cats. They are in and out; I find it pushed to different corners of the room, turned upside down, and so on. It's a good place to hide and attack from. Product that will last a long time.

She suffers from severe anxiety and enjoys hiding in boxes. After seeing this cube pop up under recommended a few times, I decided to buy it because I was tired of having boxes laying around my house. She is in the cube for more than half of the day. She likes how it has enough coverage to keep her hidden while still allowing her to see out of three holes. Since we got this cube, she's been playing a lot more than usual. It's as if you've just gotten a new cat. 10/10.
This is by far the best "toy" I've ever purchased for any of my cats. It's a fantastic time to be alive! br>This has been a favorite of our fatapotomus since the first time he saw it. He's even more enamored with it now. Even though he's growing in size, he's still a good fit! He can make the box because it has three sides with holes and three without. Take a walk or a roll around the house. The most amusing part, at least to us, is when he jumps on it and folds it into a flat nothing. It's impossible not to laugh at his expression - He's killed his favorite toy, and he's accomplished the greatest feat of all time. Then he realizes he's killed his cube and walks around it, meowing, until "whoever human" comes along and fixes it. The cube simply pops back into cube shape, and he's off jumping on it and flattening it like a pancake once more. br>I hope you enjoy Theodore's video with his cube!.
a variety of manufacturers- which I've acquired for my feline companions. I've lost two of my boys in the last year, and the current pair are 9-month-old brothers who are extremely active. I consider these cubes to be one of the Holy Trinity of cat entertainment-- The "SmartyKat Crackle Chute" and "GoKat Da Bird" are two others. " When used with Da Bird--and I suppose other wand-type toys, too-- My cats jump in and out of this cube all the time. They have chewed a hole in one of the sides to stealthily observe through. They chase each other through it, crash down on it, drag it around, pursue the toy into it, and so on. This cube has a lot of sturdiness to it. It has a springy frame and is made of woven nylon or polyester fabric. The corners are neatly finished. It's reinforced to make it less likely to fray or tear. It will collapse if you want to store it for whatever reason, and it will also collapse if it is squished or crash-landed on. Arrived at- In that case, it's a simple matter of reshaping it, though the cats are incapable of doing so. Overall, I consider this to be one of the most important aspects of my furry friends' well-being, and it's also fairly inexpensive.
10 stars! Nylon of excellent quality. I've previously purchased cubes and found them to be a waste of cash. This is not the case. They enjoy pouncing on it, which causes it to collapse and then spring back to life in perfect shape. There are no wires poking through, and the structure does not collapse and remain flat. I'm not sure what those other people are talking about, and my cat isn't particularly gentle with his toys. My cats have been playing with it on a daily basis for several months, and they are very picky! I strongly advise you to do so.
These cubes are fantastic cat toys. They enjoy playing with them as well as napping in them. When anything is rubbed on the side of them, the nylon fabric makes an awesome swishy noise that entices my cat, and the various holes make it easy to pile these in any way you want to change how the cat interacts with them. I toss them around the house at times, at other times I use the Velcro tabs to attach them to each other in various configurations, and at other times I use them to make tunnels onto and around the furniture. They provide a wide range of options. br>br>I also like that these cubes can be collapsed and stored flat whenever you need to clean the house or have guests over. My cat isn't a fan of this part, but she's gotten pretty good at reminding me when it's time to put them back on the floor if I forget. They're also extremely long-lasting. )br>br> I've had these for a while, and they haven't torn even though they have puncture holes from my cat's claws. The money was well spent.
For several years, we had a similar "cube" for our cat, and she spent a lot of time in it. However, it had worn out and needed to be replaced. This one fit the bill because it is lightweight, appears to be sturdy, and was reasonably priced; it also folds up into a small, flat package for those who might want to travel with it. br>br>The velcro strips have me perplexed. as well as the materials that came with it Each opening has corresponding pieces of it at the 12 o'clock, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, but I'm not sure how they'd be used (?). )br>br>In any case, Missy enjoys this cube because it does its job well.
I bought three cubes, and my cats were immediately enamored with them. They came flat and were held together by a rubber band; however, when the band is removed and the cube is twisted, it pops open. Each one also comes with a package of Velcro strips to help you assemble them. When the Velcro strips are used, the cubes themselves are very light and do not fit tightly together. I displayed them on my computer monitor- They're light enough to move in a medium breeze and look great on the patio. They were immediately snatched up by the kitties. They'd be better off without the straps for tying toys to because they're in the way. They are, however, an excellent value for the money. I would, however, be willing to pay a little more for a cube that is more substantial and heavier.
The cubes are a huge hit with my cats. I combined them to create a fun tunnel. Yes, the velcro is supposed to be sewn on the inside; there are small velcro strips included that you attach to the inside of one cube and fold over to the inside of the other. It's a much more durable product than their previous pyramid-shaped one, which only folded open and would fall over and close when they were playing with it. After a month, they still haven't managed to bring it down. My parents' cat has had this cube for six years, and it's still going strong despite numerous claw pricks in the nylon.
