No, because the majority of the corn is cracked.
That's what I think. Ascertain that the rodent population does not become an issue by gaining access to your bird feeder!
I toss it down on the floor. For them, the act of picking it up is half the fun. It's also useful if you need to re-enter them into the coop for any reason. They are completely enamored with it.
Only one ten-pound bag was given to me.

They seem to enjoy it a lot and aren't throwing out the bits they don't like from the other product we bought to try to appease their picky palates. So far, it has been a success.
The small round (mustard?) seeds, which make up a large portion of the ingredients in this mix, don't seem to appeal to my backyard chickens. There aren't any sunflower seeds to be found. I'm not sure if this is "good value," so I gave it a 3-star rating. a rating of five stars br>br>On the other hand, the wild ducks appear to be content with a quick "calorie grab" and appear to eat all of the seeds equally. The field mice are in the same boat; Only SOME wild birds are attracted to this seed, as opposed to bird feeders that are suspended above the ground and filled with other seed.
Why? I have no idea. Manna's 7-step plan is much more appealing to them. Grain scratch with purple corn or other brands, and this type of scratch will not always eat all of the grain. However, the price is unbeatable; it is significantly less expensive than the other Amazon options. I keep buying it because I'm too lazy to drive all the way to the feed store.
I was hoping someone would inquire! Despite the fact that my daughters are spoiled, they eat everything! They were clearly dissatisfied with the outcome! When they looked at me, I felt embarrassed. We couldn't go to our local store because it was too far away, and we were too busy.
Warning: This is not something you should feed your chickens. As a treat for my birds, I purchased this. I sincerely regret what I did. My birds are in good health and have received excellent care. They became very sick after I gave it to them. One person even lost his life. If I am able to, I will contact the manufacturer and file a complaint with them. Not only did I lose my lovely Ancona hen, but the product also contained grain moths. They've taken over the chicken coop and are now flying all over it.
I have wild chickens in my front yard that are technically not mine but came with the house. So, while I don't really "feed" them, I did start giving them this feed, which they devoured almost immediately.
Barney the Rooster isn't one of her favorite people to share anything with. It's also popular with chickens, but I only feed it to them as a treat. They're that good. br>However, critters should eat their dinner before getting dessert, so don't raise them solely on this.
Cracked corn is the majority of it. My chickens aren't interested in it at all (which is strange because they eat almost everything). br>br>Recent changes: br>br> My chickens have begun to eat it after about two weeks. I'm not sure what made them change their minds, but when they're bored, they slowly pick it up and eat it. (I suppose that's what scratch is for. ).
