was having trouble getting my new birds to come near me until I started giving them the veggies and fruits treat in my hand. Now they all jump right onto my hand and enjoy the fruit treatment.
Higgins Sunburst Fruits were a big hit with my Zebra Finches You will love these vegetarian treats. The bags are small, so I was going to give 5 stars however, I gave only 4 stars. The photos of this product give the false impression that it is much bigger than it is. Having said that, this bird treat makes my birds very happy but is really expensive. I think it is cheaper to feed my birds fresh vegetables and fruits, which are probably healthier as well. I CONCLUDE AS FOLLOWS I won't be buying it again, as it's a great bird treat.
We feed this treat to our birds almost every day. The plan was to pick it up at the pet store we frequent the most. I disagree. Amazon was selling the item for a cheap price. It was a really good price. I appreciate it.
These mixes are great to be added to other mixes and birds really enjoy them. Using a variety of mixes and pellets enables me to use less of each and to extend the life of every one. With more variety and a higher level of nutrition for birds, fresh fruits and vegetables are also encouraged. It is organic all the way. In addition to the fresh leafy greens in this brand, I also use them. The small portions make it last a long time because I only use a little bit in each bowl.
This is a great product for my birds! There are no words to describe how much my birds enjoy Fruit and veggies spoil in the fridge before I use them up if I buy fresh fruit or veggies. My birds get along just fine with this.

I find it to be a favorite treat that my parakeet absolutely adores. As I was filling up the container inside the cage, I put the spoon on it to empty a spoonful. Immediately after I give it to my bird, he eats it up. There is no denying that it is his favorite treat. The packaging of the seeds is very durable, reseals well and keeps them fresh for quite a short while.
