The only issue was that one of the wing nuts did not fit the split branch - The larger, flat branch, however, was incompatible with both of them. Further. On the bottom, a saw was used to cut the larger branch - a cut that was made in error - It appears to be terrible. The smaller, split branch appears to be in good condition. It's abrasive, and cleaning it will be difficult. Mom is the proud owner of a conure with green cheeks. a teeny-tiny parrot In any case, it was suggested that I go to the hardware store and purchase a wing nut that would work. The only problem is that there isn't a single open hardware store within 200 miles of where I am right now. I'd just thrown the branch out the window. I should also mention that the selling agents have refunded my money and stated that they will send me some other bird toys to compensate for the blunder. That's really cool - However, I am unable to recommend the branches, and while they are courteous about it - I wouldn't buy anything else if I had the chance - This is simply my personal opinion.

Prior to purchasing this item, I read reviews claiming that some customers had received perches that were moldy. When I compared these reviews to the other positive ones, I decided to take a chance because there were more positive ones (may the odds always be in my favor). When I received my item, I was not surprised to find mold on the flat perch. It's not dust; I've had mold issues in the past and am familiar with recognizing mold (it's greenish). I'm disappointed that I had this problem, and I'll warn you that if you're considering purchasing these perches, this is most likely a common problem.

Unsafe! I was given a piece of wood that was very old, chipping, and green moldy. This product is extremely hazardous to my birds or any other living creature. It appears to have been dug up and shipped to me from a wet spot in the woods. Very let down.

These were bought for my cockatiel. The colorful swinging bridge and swinging bar, on the other hand, are far too small for a cockatiel to enjoy. I do, however, have parakeets, so I gave those two items to them, and they absolutely adore them, particularly the beaded bar. Now I just have to find something similar in size for my cockatiel. The package receives 5 stars for parakeets; however, the photo's size deceived me.

These were purchased for use in my parakeet cage. These perches appear to be a favorite of two of my birds. I placed the flat perch near the food and water bowls, which appears to be ideal for the birds to eat from. The birds consistently sleep on the branch-style perch. These are sturdy, but not excessively so. They also don't take up a lot of space in the cage. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and will most likely order another.

These toys come in odd sizes, with some being too small for larger birds and others being too large for smaller birds. Some of the bells fell off some of the toys in the packaging, and I don't think the bell toy included is safe enough to use in either of my bird cages, as others have mentioned. Rather than buying this value pack, you should probably buy individual toys.

I purchased these for my lovebird, which I will be picking up today, so I have no prior experience with perches or anything like that. The flat one is attractive, and I like how it appears. The other one is much slimmer than the one in the photo. To an extent, I understand because they are branches and will not be exact, but it is so thin that it passes through the cage's bars. To keep it from doing that, I'll need to go out and buy a larger washer. The washers and other accessories that came with these are also very cheap, and the finish is rubbing off, so I'll just replace them all. The only reason I'm giving it three stars is because of the extreme skinniness of the branch and the fittings that came with it, which I regret, but I shouldn't have to go out and buy new fittings because they're so cheap and small.
