Currently, I own two and may purchase more in the future. Although they are expensive, given how easily they can be sanitized, they might be worth the extra cost. The grooves on them are supposed to keep nails trimmed as well, but I am not certain how well they do so. is possible that they work, but I also have other sanded perches in the cage, so I cannot directly attribute the nail care to these perches.

That is horrid. The perch has no real definition, so there is nothing that sharpens the feathers of my bird. It is possible to buy 2 for the price The 3 sand perches do what they're supposed to do. In trying this, I simply added to my waste because I did not know how to do it. There is no point in bothering.
