These are fantastic! They allow me to keep my bird's nails and beak trimmed so that he never needs them! They're simple to put together and sturdy once they're in place. It can be mounted both horizontally and vertically. Their feet had a smooth side, but the underside was sandy, which got under their nails or allowed them to rub their beaks on it! Excellent value for money! They also last a long time and do not shed sand like some other brands do!.

They are being used by my cockatiels, but they do not appear to enjoy them as much as their other perches. They're quite good for the price. Two different colors and widths are shown in the Amazon image. I received two different colors, but they are the same size and shape. Color is unimportant to me, but different shapes are better for bird feet. They're not bad, but I think I'll spend a little more money on some better ones next time.

My birds' feet were getting sores from their sand perches, but these are a lot more comfortable. They'll choose this perch even if it's placed lower because they adore it. I attempted to take before and after pictures, but the parrots were uninterested. I'm happy to say that the sores started to heal almost immediately. br>br>Highly recommended for nail care without causing harm to delicate little toes.

It is necessary. Get some sand sticks if you don't already have any. These are excellent quality and allow the bird to file down its beak and nails, which is important, especially if you plan on picking them up because their claws can become sharp. Additionally, they are available in a variety of colors. Simple to clean in a bucket with a little bleach, rinse, and then sun for extra clean antibacterial protection before returning to the cage.

Parakeets are a type of bird that can be found in the United States These are too large for parakeets, despite the fact that it says it's a good choice for them. My parakeets will not sit on the perches because they are well-made and sturdy. at all. ever. It's just that they're too big for their tiny toes. Because I believe the listing is misleading, I only gave them three stars. Larger birds will benefit from the perches.

The structure is excellent. These are excellent files for keeping your bird's nails and claws trimmed. Much better than the ineffective plastic ones (even though the bottom is rough, it's still plastic). This is fantastic - I'll be purchasing more in the near future. Make sure you have other perches on hand, as the roughness of these will irritate your bird if he or she is forced to use them all the time.

These perches are a big hit with my conure. I expected him to take a few days to get used to them, but he jumped right in. They've made a huge difference in keeping his nails from becoming too sharp. Trimming his nails was a nightmare for both of us, so I'm glad I bought these.

Really helped me file down my birds' nails and saved me $200 in vet bills. They don't care for these perches in the least, but I suggest putting some mullet or their favorite treat on it. It helps a lot by filing down their nails as they eat and move around.
