Questions & Answers

In how many years can the battery be expected to last?

According to my opinion, 15 is the right answer. The time taken is 20 minutes. A set of batteries is definitely not enough, and they are hard to get (even through links to suppliers provided by the manufacturer). Furthermore, batteries should cool down 15-30 minutes before being used A minimum of 20 minutes need to pass before the charging cycle begins (which can easily take over an hour)

Is it possible to charge one battery at a time?

There are two batteries and a dual charger included in the package.

I would like to know how long the batteries will last after one charge?

The weather will be terrible for forty

This is the worst I've ever dealt with anyone
3/5

Having snow on top of everything else is the worst. This website is not worth the time. We received a box that was broken and one battery had been removed. Trying to get a new battery from them. A lot of time was devoted to this on the website. I never found what I was looking for. In the process of registering the machine, I lost all the information I had already given to Do not deal with these people at any point in time. We had a snow storm last week and only just got the battery, but lights flash for a second, but it doesn't start. Nothing of value.

Could it possibly have been used previously? I am disappointed
3/5

There were battery boxes out of their individual compartments, and the compartments themselves were closed up, so the batteries didn't fall I found multiple scuffs on it, so I'm beginning to wonder if this was previously purchased and returned and then sent to me as soon as it was purchased. When it comes to the blower, the crank is difficult to adjust, and it's easier to just manually adjust the blower yourself when compared to There is no way to fold the handle down for easier storage of the bag so that's definitely a negative for those wanting to store it. Additionally, I did not know it needed two batteries to be operational. Initially, I thought that you needed one battery and that one was a backup, so you have to have two charged batteries for it to be functional - you don't just put one in and remove another when the battery runs out. To use both, you have to charge them both and use them, which takes about 30 minutes After 40 minutes, charge them for nearly two hours and when the job has lasted longer than a half hour, go outside to finish it. In spite of the fact that it may have overlooked the dual battery requirement, I see nothing amiss with the procedure. Even though it may be scuffed up and already open, I am okay with the setup. Although I've only used it one time, I'm interested to see what happens when I do use it again. My only complaint is that it should be brand new, in prestige condition, rather than previously opened and scratched.

This doesn't work at all
3/5

That is a ridiculous piece of work! After 2 weeks, it has finally snowed here and I have had the snow joe until now. This was my first time using it, so I was eager to do so. In the beginning, it didn't start at all. After playing around with it for a few minutes, I was done. All of a sudden, it started and stopped every 10 seconds. When it tries to restart, it fails. What went wrong or was missing was unclear. Snow soaked me to the skin and I haven't even got half way through my driveway completed. I tried to wrestle with this snow thrower for forty minutes before it just stopped working. There is a lot of frustration involved. It's so sad.

This uses only a small amount of electricity
3/5

I was impressed with how fast and easily it It's kind of tricky to adjust the direction of the blower as you have to grab it and turn it in the right direction. This was supposed to be done by a crank, but it doesn't turn, so you have to manually do it. The snow on the ground has reached about 9 inches, and that is much too much for this blower to handle. In any case, it goes in the garage and only gets used when there are a few inches of snow, which isn't the typical seasonal use for a snow blower. This is not one of my favorite Snow Joe products. I have owned other items that were much better than this.

It's a good product, but the specs are wrong
4/5

The description of the product is a bit inaccurate, but the product is good. There is a link on the Amazon page that goes to the manufacturer's webpage for further information. A plastic auger is used in this particular model which is known to be more durable in areas where there is snow coupled with a thin layer of ice. This particular model is described in the website as rubber covered metal.

There is a slight difference between what is listed and what is done
3/5

It had part of it missing when I bought it. A replacement was sent out to me by Amazon in a timely manner. It was a very quick delivery of the second one. The auger was made of plastic that I discovered as I put it together. I can't rate it as a four The rubber blade This 1 foot wide, 10 inch deep steel auger can clear a path in a single pass that is 18 inches wide and 10 inches deep. I found SnowJoe to be less than helpful over the phone. In fact, he was more interested in finding out whether I had registered it and then said, "yes, it's plastic. ". My response is, "Well, it says it is a rubber-tipped steel auger on the listing. ". It is plastic, it is for decks. He just kept repeating that to me. The return label was once again issued by Amazon. They were more than happy to help you.

This doesn't make me happy

Nothing about this thing can be said to be powerful. Considering the price, this should have been more than I got.
