Can the thrower run completely on a single charge and does the battery need to be charged for a long time?

We had 14 inches of snow last week. The amount of snow we have this year will depend on how much snow we get. By the time I had finished 3/4 of it, the battery had run out. I noticed that the snow was After about 30 minutes, it had a fully charged battery and powered down the driveway, which is about 50 feet long. 10 feet long and 10 feet wide. A wide area.

The blower uses a 40V battery, can it be used with it?

It is necessary to use an 80 volt battery for the snow blower. It may work for a little while with the 40-volt battery, but the 80-volt battery should be used instead.

A shovel is 100X worse when it does not work! A
3/5

UPDATED Once again, I have received a Having never tested these ideas in SNOW, I'm not certain they have ever been tested. I wanted to remind you that the replacements I received were not the 80V series as I originally bought them. It took me close to a week to photograph this one since we received more snow after it was taken. While running it, I ran it every now and then so that I could get as much as I could. Even without snow, just sitting still, it took me more than 10 minutes to run this. You'd never know it, but as soon as it comes in contact with snow, it will stop! You won't even last a second most of the time, and maybe 2 seconds at most! That is the height of Here is yet another update I received my replacement snowblower and experienced exactly the same problems as others have mentioned. Once the snowblower came in contact with it, it stopped working. I just got off the phone with Greenworks Customer Service. They are sending me As soon as I confirm that this one works, I am supposed to resend the original one. The expense of the other party. During my struggle to see if I could keep it running, one of the batteries shorted out. In addition to the replacement battery, they sent me a charging cable. A particular item is unavailable yet again, which is surprising. The 4AH battery in this case. It's a 5AH battery that they are giving me. Look forward to seeing how this thing pans out. Update

Due to a bug in the software, we have to quit. I received a call from Greenworks Customer Service a short time after my last update. They stated that they did not have any 80V snowblowers to provide replacement, but they would send me a 40V unit with charger and battery as well as The resolution was not exactly what I wanted, but perhaps a fair one when it comes to customer service? This is the second time that Greenworks Customer Service has provided me with a fair resolution very quickly. A POST-MODERN UPDATED Exactly one year after the purchase
First time this year using it with only a couple of runs already under its belt, it has just stopped working! It was almost as if a rock wedged into a corner. However, the blade can be spun by hand and there is no rock inside. The only sign that anything is in the way is that the button must be pressed and the safety bar grasped for a light to appear on the battery. Greenworks and their snowblowers are not doing well. out ongoing reviews both here and on the company's website. I hope Greenworks is still reviewing them? In her original review, she writes During the few times we've used it, it has worked perfectly. The two smaller batteries, along with a charger, were already in my possession. So far, I'd give it a 5 out of 5 star rating.

Handle is not long
3/5

The handle is very short. So I decided to get the snow thrower as well. I have the 80v chainsaw and the 80v lawn mower which I love, so I figured I would get the snow thrower too. It is now on my mind whether I should send There is a difference of eight inches between the handle of the lawn mower and the handle of the weed eater. Despite extending my hands straight down (see comparison photo), I barely reach the handle with my fingers. If there is a handle extension I can bolt on, I will do that. This will have to be returned if I am not able to find one that will work. Trying to operate this is impossible for me since I can't bend over. I have some other There is a lack of strength in comparison to chainsaws and lawn mowers. There is almost no metal in it. It is clear from looking at it that the small metal slids are wearing out quickly. In February. The 21st century update has been used over the winter so far. That's true, the handle is too short to use, and I have a lot of back pain from bending over so much. I suspected the metal skids would break around the second time they were used. There's nothing like the quality of the chainsaw or lawn mower about this unit. As long as the snow is light and fluffy, it will work quite As for the money I spent on this, I wish I would have bought a dependable metal gas snow thrower instead.

Taking care of the deck can be fun at last! Having just received my snow thrower about a week ago, I finally had a chance to try it out today because we got about 6" of fresh snow (and the threat of more) so when I got home I decided to put it to work
5/5

There is nothing like snow to make this thing happy. In no time at all, it ate up the 6" of snow! My ramp is on two levels (about 50') and I have a wraparound ramp of the same length Around the deck at the back of the There is about 40' between the two poles. Quite a feat for a thrower who got it all done in 15 non-stop throws The back-up plan Only used one bar of juice and only broke my bank for a few minutes. I didn't purchase it with the charger or battery as I had a charger and smaller 80V battery from GreenWorks backpack In addition, I purchased a backup battery of a smaller size. My thrower plugged up in the discharge chute two or three times while I was using it. I was able to resolve this easily As soon as she let go of the handle, the chute stopped and the snow began to flow. Again, we restarted the system with the two moves and went off This is easy! Easy to use, that's what I really like about it. A shop vac can be heard as it's quite quiet (about the same noise). I see light! A small squid (about With the integrated handle, my mother and I were able to lift it quite easily. Since I have back problems, shoveling the deck and ramp in the snow is not my favorite task. that there is this system in place, it will be a snap to groom I've wanted it for a while, but thought that this year was the right time to get it done. Thank you for this. I'm glad you sent it. AUGUST 2017 UPDATE December 15, 2017. In spite of the snow thrower still working excellently, we are still able to clear the deck and walk ways The little magnets that hold the battery cover down are a big letdown though, so I would be taking away half a star A great idea in theory, but it did not work out as well as it could. It has already been observed that not just one, but BOTH magnets have already been installed in the As it was, the battery would not have stayed in place had GreenWorks molded a partial shelf in which the magnet could fit rather than an essentially bottomless tube, instead the magnetic screws on the battery cover pushed the magnets down through the holes, and that's it! Since I purchased the standard 80V battery, I didn't need to purchase the more expensive ones, so the cover still seems to keep the battery dry, but if those magnets were in place, it would have been much better. Aside from that, the blower itself seems to be performing well. The fact that I got this is not an issue. I have updated the following information The 5th of May, 2017, a little after 12. As a result of the massive storm that hit the East Coast there was a bitter cold snap The temperatures have dropped below zero and my home in northern Vermont has received over a foot of snow. Earlier today, I cleared a large ramp for the front of our house. (No, it wasn't Two drinks in a row It is after all the director who throws the stage). The snow from this little guy was REALLY thrown! The entire two-year period was covered by it It took about 15 minutes to level the ramp (12 inches of white This is a very impressive presentation. It's one of the best purchases I've ever made.
