Hi Rckhnd, We do not recommend storing the unit under a tarp. We recommend you keep it in a garage or similar shelter to prevent damage to the unit.

In a nutshell, Initially, I was skeptical due to the price, and all the reviews I read said "This is awesome!" When I purchased it, I was intrigued by the price. I can't wait for it to snow so I can test That kind of thing, or something similar, is unhelpful. Nevertheless, having it for less than $100 (cyber monday sale) seemed worth the gamble. I used it for the first time today while I was travelling in deep snow (I live in Salt Lake City, UT) and it worked pretty well. Getting rid of the snow has become a necessity as I have a large four car driveway that is never exposed to the sun.
PROS You can also get it on sale, which makes it even more affordable. When it isn't too wet, it works really well, so you don't have to shovel at all. When not in use, you can fold down the chute for easy storage. It can be used to throw snow in any direction you choose. When it comes to putting it away after winter, you do not have to do additional maintenance as you would with a gas snow thrower. THINGS TO AVOID There is an extension cord to work around, so you don't run over it (also makes it more difficult to maneuver). Feels more like a facilitator than a leader. I wonder if the paddle will crack easily since it is made of plastic instead of rubber. I'm wondering if this is something worth repairing or if it is just another disposable item that you use for a short time before I don't think it's bad necessarily, but we ought to consider it. I feel like this thrower is cheap in comparison to others I have As far as I am concerned, this will not last as long as some of the old gas If I pushed it very hard, my body had a hard time being responsive. I actually tripped the power strip I had it plugged into when I got to the bottom of the deep deep *Brief* Concluding remarks A little annoying having to deal with an extension cord, kind of like doing a particularly tough vacuuming job. It's in no way the best snow thrower on the market, but it's great for its price. It's great how adjustable the shoot is and I like the overall design. You'll be using your snow thrower a lot on a large area and want something that can last you for years, so I suggest going for a Honda H series machine like the older Honda HS35 or the more recent It's very likely that the HS35 will run for much longer than 25 years without any issues, and even if there are issues there are many repair shops that can take care of them if anything In the event that it breaks, I would imagine that it might end up in the trash. In spite of that, I bought this one and have been extremely happy with it thus I can get 4 points if I can manage it I will feel that I got more than my money's worth out of it by the time I see 5 seasons. This may not be for everyone, but it's still great value for your money. I will upload a video showing how it works so you can see and hear me using it.
This is one of the best snowblowers on the market. It is easy to use, reasonably light and easy to maneuver. A word of caution which I hope will be helpful for For this machine, you should not buy the 16/3 orange 100 foot extension cord which is indicated as a "Frequently Bought Together" item on Amazon. (16 gauge, three This extension cord is only rated at 10 amps, which is insufficient for a snow blower rated at 13 amps. instruction manual of the manufacturer, there is a chart that shows the amperage required for long cables is even higher My recommendation is at least a 100 foot cord, which means the power must be rated at 15 amps or higher. On Amazon, you can find a number of cords which are 12 gauge and 15 amp under "Also Bought. ". While they are more expensive, safety is the primary concern here. It comes in a model for extreme conditions, who is very flexible in the very cold, which I regret not having. The extension cord becomes rigid in the cold when it is left lying on a Other than that, the snow blower itself represents a great deal of The machine isn't as powerful as a bigger gas machine, but I'm able to keep up with snowfalls without any problems. It is quiet, does not emit gas or combustion odors, and starts in the cold without hassle even in harsh winter conditions.
The lumbar cushion was bought in September to protect my back and I am super pleased with it! In Northern Virginia, we experienced one of the five worst snowstorms on record. We had more than 24 inches of snow. I have used this method a few times with fresh snow and it has worked well. In total, about 20" of debris were removed in the final cleaning. Although it was slow going and we had to take a few passes, she provided an excellent performance. I will buy from them.
I found the assembly to be very straightforward. The cord didn't get in the way while I was snow blowing, but I did think it would. As for weight, I had light snow today, so it will be interesting to see how it handles heavy, wet snow another time. My 8-year-old was also able to use it. I was able to keep my back from hurting when The two surgeries on my back and the surgery on my knee have both taken place. That was a huge help to me! The following is an update from February There were two snowstorms in one week, and this thing stood up to them! My mom was a single mother without the funds to buy a large It was excellent and I would buy it again in a heartbeat!.
