After being on the fence for over a year I finally decided to get involved There are some negative reviews online concerning the EGO snowblower and its price, which I can understand. At least to a certain extent. It has been a good purchase for me. I found this to be a high-quality snowblower and it performed well during our harsh Midwest winter This winter (2020/21) there will be plenty of snow in the northeast. For about a month, I was watching and waiting for the metal auger SNT2110 version. I was fortunate enough to get it in time for the storm wave There was no model like this at Lowe's. There is an uneven driveway with slate stones at the garage end that slopes downward. Also, I have a flat sidewalk, some hardscaping around the house, and even gravel on the driveway. I'm an engineer, so my house is a test case for difficulty in snow plowing. There is some jarring as a result of uneven surfaces, but since I carefully maneuvered over known uneven spots and sidewalk gaps, I was able to accommodate users. The plant was fabulous for about a week before it died. It would seem unlikely for a snowblower to totally malfunction if it runs over a flat board concealed under Think of how many sticks in the snow can be hidden.
