I appreciate you asking this question, Karen. An extension cord is connected to this component so you can loop the cord and not pull on the electrical connection. The part you are referring to is used on units that use an extension cord. A mistake resulted in the item being located in your unit. A lawn mower manufacturer owned by Earthwise/American
I appreciate you asking this question, SH. As the SN74018 is designed to operate only with the 4 amp battery supplied with the product, it is highly rechargeable after depletion. The battery can be recharged in roughly 2 hours after depletion. Several batteries can be charged at the same time if you would like to do so. Thank you for purchasing Earthwise Snow Throwers. Easy to assemble, inexpensive, and well built. In all, it probably took me about 15 minutes, and only because I put the chute crank on the wrong side of the handle. I am responding to the users complaining that they think they received a used unit from the This is a problem with the seller, and you need to file a complaint with them. Giving a low rating to the product won't help. It only has one con for me I don't really like the wheels on the product too much I would prefer larger wheels since the tires had a hard time cutting through wet snow. I am happy with the product overall. It was easy to put together, relatively cheap, and feels well built. In the future, I plan to update this review after I get some snow to reflect the real It's because Mother Nature never enabled me to test this product because I have never had a reason to do so. In my case, though, I doubt that will be the case since I'm in CNY. A POST-MODERN UPDATED Apparently we had some snow in the last 24 hours of December - both Christmas Eve and Christmas morning (which is when I'm A lot hasn't been said about 2 Despite the 4" of snow, there was a few inches of ice underneath because it had rained a few days before. The thing is a powerhouse, no doubt about it! I had no problem getting it through the snow or ice, and it even took care of the icy plow drifts at the end of my driveway without any trouble at all. I was surprised to find that it did a fine job on my gravel walkway without spitting rocks everywhere. After running the snow blower for about one and a half hours without losing any power, the battery was still almost fully figure I have to say this as an estimate since it only took 15 minutes for the battery to get to 100% after I put it back on the charger. After using this in the snow and ice, I am going to leave a review at four stars. I do not like the wheels on this thing any more now. There would be no question that it would have been a 5- if the wheels were larger and more substantial No matter how you cut it, this invention saved me a great deal of time and pain in my back!.
I've used it both in dusty snow and in heavy snow without any problems. It is best to spray the snow shoot and teeth with non-corrosive cleaner when there is heavy snow Sprays that can be used to cook (like PAM). In this way, the snow does not stick to the shoot and builds up and causes blockage. This has been a very positive experience for me. They also have an electric lawnmower and their batteries are interchangeable, which is fantastic.
The opportunity to use it has not come up so far As a result of a big snow storm in my area, I bought it. Now it's all melted. It is forecasted that there will be a big snowstorm this weekend, so we'll get to try it out! As soon as I use it, I'll update. I am pleased to report that the process was very simple. The process took me less than an hour (but I had a movie on in the background and made lunch during the process). It was a very quick and painless process, as instructions and pictures were clear. A POST-MODERN UPDATED Luckily, the snow we thought would come did come, so I got to use my First snowblower I ever owned, and I have a really good electric mower, so I was glad to get an electric snowblower at same time. My husband had originally wanted a corded one instead, but I'm glad I decided on a cordless one because it would certainly have made the task more difficult.
Having read other reviews, I can see why others have complained about the wheels. There could be some improvements, such as making them beefier or more rugged, so they would be easier to carry. Although they were not the worst thing ever, they gave me some difficulty at first. I was able to remove most of my snow with a blower A few of us got between 3 and 4 There were plenty of inches of snow (it's hard to tell with the wind blowing up drifts), as well as some ice. I didn't experience any issues with the ice or the salt I put down the previous night. Although I had to clean out the chute a few times, it was very swift and I didn't feel slowed down. To me, one of the most significant advantages of electric power is how easy it is to turn on and off. As well as clearing my driveway and the small walk to the front door, I cleared the sidewalks to either side of the property as well. The driveway and walkway took me about 45 minutes. Having better preplanned my route, I may have been able to complete my route faster, however, as I recently had to re-do a few spots because the chute wasn't angled My first time went well though, so it might be considered a success! Let me attach some photos of my driveway before and after it was resurfaced. The overall experience was a positive one, and I would rate it a 5 star at this time, based on how easy it was to put together, and how well it did for me.
You don't have to assemble the pieces), and the batteries last for 20 hours (I got a back massage for 30 minutes As above). I found this could only fit materials up to about 3" deep. Once I've used it, I can back things up and look at them multiple times (which is what I will have to do since I'll need to use it again), but as far as a clean sweep in one pass goes, don't expect to cover more than 3". When the snow has dried out, it might be possible to do 4 runs. Although I may have chosen a different machine had I known about the shallow depth, the machine is still better than shoveling for someone with degenerative knee, hip, shoulder, and disc problems, bilateral carpal tunnel, and neuropathy, who cannot walk far for long periods. The route was completed on one charge, though I did get two extra batteries for tough snow conditions. In turn, this prevented the graduates of the Helen Keller School of Snowplowing from decimating my VERY visible property, or plowing it.
The day before a snowstorm, I tried everything to get it to start, and it would not turn on! I received it and put it together, but the night before the snow storm, it wouldn't turn on. Installing the battery correctly and charging the battery fully ensured its proper performance. Then I read the reviews on the Hone Depot website, and this seems to be a common complaint about the machine. A big Due to my lack of experience with it, I have no idea how it would work to remove snow.
