I love how this works! The HLS fault in our Mastertemp 400 was resolved with this. This type of sensor is installed in our heater two times, one each in the pool and the spa outlet (although we don't have a spa, so I'd assume both go to the pool outlet). Originally, these two made up a pair The sensors I installed both made 140F ratings and one of them (which I replaced with this part) made 135F ratings. It is not clear whether this difference is significant. The rating on this one was 135 degrees as well.
Having a problem with my Pentair Mastertemp 400 pool heater, it would heat for about 1 minute, then cut off, then throw an error, then after 2-3 minutes, it would come back on During this period, the system would reset and restart every 3 minutes. Replacing this HLS fixed the issue, it only took 3 minutes to install. I saved myself from having to make a pool repair call and hundreds of dollars. I am so proud of this product!.
Upon getting the item, I was concerned because it looked much smaller than the one I was replacing (the old one took a 7/8" socket, whereas this one took a 11/16" socket). Nevertheless, when I removed the old one, I found the hole to be the right size. This new one took me less than a minute to replace, and it works perfectly. A new heater has been installed in my pool!.
I can't think of anything more you could As the title implies, it's not a complicated one. It is easy to replace the heater in a pool or spa. In fact, the "nut" on the outside was actually smaller than the original, but the threading was the same, so I installed it and it worked very well.
After assigning a return number, I first thought it was the wrong part, since this thing has a smaller head, but the threads are exactly the same size. I replaced it, and it works just fine. In addition, the head isn't huge as on the first one, so it's more easy to install. Fortunately, I had a deep well socket that was perfect for.
It works.
The problem has been resolved. The first time I installed it, it worked perfectly.
It fits perfectly with the Mastertemp 400 model from Pentair.
