Balboa offers a 1 year limited warranty on their products. I called them to take advantage of their warranty. I found out they offer a warranty of one year from the date of manufacture. Because it had been manufactured less than a month before I bought it, they refused to cover the warranty (even though it was still within the warranty period). Please note
You are NOT covered by a warranty if you buy one and it has been sitting on a shelf for 12 months, whether it be at Balboa or via a distributor. Please note

Customer service was unfriendly and My recommendation is to find an alternate distributor or a distributor who will provide you with a genuine The message here is to steer clear of companies that fail to stand behind their product with gimmicks like this.
It said 58083 was a replacement for the 58089 heater model in my spa. Although this heater is the same size as my spa's original heater model, it has the same specifications as the older model. (Water would only rise to 80 degrees) * The heater for my house stopped working as it should. In the past two months, the dealer went out and ordered a replacement. In the end, I decided to take matters into my own hands and became an independent homeowner. This heater arrived within days and was as simple to install as the YouTube video indicated. This replacement spa pack fit perfectly in my Balboa spa. Less than 30 minutes were required for the removal and installation of the old heater assembly. I am pleased with the results.
In short, yes. I went to use my hot tub one day, but it stopped heating. Some of the quotes I received for travel alone were outrageous when I called around to find technicians to help. The tub is now nice and hot again as a result of the purchase of this, swapping it out. My finances were in good shape after I saved a ton Sincerely, thank you.
There are some challenges to the installation, since the side panels must be removed, but a knowledgeable husband who is mechanically inclined should be able to complete the job himself.
