In over a month of getting all the parts, I get everything worked out and I still cannot power on the pump. There's no batteries in it at all, like a toy. It is plugged into the same plug that I use for my deep freezer, which works fine. In an attempt to find out if it could be too much on one outlet, I unplugged the deep freezer and plugged it into another outlet, but the pump still does not work. It has been over a dozen times since I contacted Intex, but nothing has been done. There is no phone number for me to contact at the site where I bought the product from Amazon. As a result, I now have a dirty pool and a $440 pump sitting in my yard. When considering all the additional money I spent on the parts missing from the package No use for it at all! I am amazed! The pump that came with it didn't clean the pool as well as I thought it should. Filters such as these improved the clarity of the water. This is a great investment that we're glad we made. As well as the vacuum, it was very helpful.
