What are the reversible features of the pump?

There is no reversible pump in the technical sense. Pumping water into the bag requires that the hose be placed in the bag and the pump is put in the water. In order to reverse the process, simply flip the pump around and place it inside the bag with the hose inserted in the water. Once you drain the bag, you can put the pump out again. This machine claims to do 3000gph, but I am uncertain. I would expect to achieve a flow rate of 2000gph. Quite a bit of heat is generated by the plug after just a few minutes, which is not surprising.
