In the manual that came with it, it says to wait one year from the date of purchase if it's for a single-family residence. If you want to know the motor you're getting, you should visit the Hayward website. I would like to point out that this pump is just as good as it says it is. On top of that, I think I'm saving $25+ a month on electricity thanks to it. You are in good hands!
The voltage on mine is 220 volts. I think it might be possible to order it with an 11-volt motor, but I don't know for My understanding is that the warranty is for one year. An AO Smith motor made in Mexico is expected to have a service life of about 15 years. Moreover, the pump itself will last for a much longer period of time. In most cases, the motor is the one that fails. My life has been impacted by four major surgeries Pumps can be replaced with motors that are purchased separately, in addition to the
Mexico is listed as the country of assembly on the motor
When I replaced the same model (3215), the replacements were identical. There is no guarantee that the 4015 number will be accurate.

Previously, I had a 2HP unit now, I have a 1HP one. This motor uses less power and moves the same amount of water as the older motor while using less horsepower. This unit was also much quieter than the old 2HP model. Furthermore, returning the basket to its original state is effortless. Rather than the motor itself, the problem is with the motor. The device stopped working after it had been in service for 14 months. All of the oil was leaking out of the capacitor because it burnt a hole in itself. Just replace the capacitor and you're good to go. As soon as I did, it began to run, but screeched. There were problems with the bearings in the motor, which caused it to break in about ten It will be expensive to buy a motor for a pump that has been operating for 14 months. The situation doesn't seem right to me. In addition Hayward said they do not produce the motors, and I am 2 months past the warranty expiration, so I'm out of luck. I ordered a new motor, and I will inspect the old one as soon as it arrives, but I doubt its bearings will be able to be repaired. In general, Hayward and this pump have disappointed me a great deal.
It has been five This repeats twice. The first week it worked great, but the second week it stopped working There is a leak at the base of the water exit that can be repaired. The plastic weld at the base of the body has just a couple of pin holes. I have tried everything to fix it with no success. In other words, if you get a product from June of 2014, you'll be guaranteed for four years* at least. Here's what happened. . . I bought another one to replace the one shown in the picture and guess what? . . . . It works! As soon as it developed a pin whole leak, another crack appeared in the same damn place. I DON'T RECOMMEND YOU BUY THIS UNIT, AS IT HAS A DESIGN FLAW.
There was no damage to the exterior of the shipment container, so the defect was present prior to Amazon delivery. A dent caused the motor rotor to rub when operated. As it left the factory, this unit should not have been allowed to leave. The Amazon returns team is currently processing the returns.
This is no exception. However, despite the fact that it is not a variable-speed pump or a 2 speed pump, it is still a very good, energy-efficient and very quiet pump. In addition to cycling water from my 20000 gallon pool, it is also used to clean bird baths. This pump really did everything I asked it to do. Yes, 5 stars is the way to go!.
The pump and installation were an exact replacement for what I had before The engine. It took less than one hour for the change out to be completed. Purchase of the motor & transmission By having the pump already connected, time, labour, and money were saved, as well as aggravation caused by having the pump overhauled. Furthermore, the new motor does not seem to be as noisy as the old motor was.
When I compare this pump to my previous pump, I was pleasantly surprised by how strong and quiet it is at the same time. This purchase was well worth the price. I am very happy with my purchase.
My local Leslie's and Pinch A Penny did not have what I needed in stock, but Amazon was so much cheaper. Just make sure you have a 220 volt or 110 volt Assuming that I could only use 110 volts, I ordered this pump thinking that it worked only with As I realized the pump came with a 220V plug, I immediately wired my old pump to the new one. There were some changes I needed to make It was a little tricky to do the piping with the PVC, but not problematic. A simple way to do it Better than the old style, the off lid is much more convenient. After learning how much shipping would cost (my pool was broken and I needed it fast), I became a Prime member. Since then, I shop on Amazon almost weekly for great bargains on items that I used to buy at Lowe's,.
This is the original. The pump installed to replace the old one worked as expected. A leak in the body of the pump near the threaded connection on the outlet caused the original pump to fail. A manufacturing bug is to blame here the pump was a couple of years past its prime and had been updated with a new motor several years earlier.
