Sadly, Sand & Gravel will not be available in the next couple of weeks. Filter bags made of sand are marginally OK from a quality perspective, according to me. There seems to be a problem with the proprietary filter bags, too, as they rip out after only about 4 or 5 uses, presumably because of the volume and pressure of water moving through the filter, and even without a lot of small debris in the way If the filter bag is used, it probably needs to be cleaned every time, but there is very little debris inside In spite of the fact that the tool is otherwise worthwhile, the quality of the bag stitching is less-than-ideal.
My pool Blaster Catfish vacuum fits perfectly in this mesh bag. A small amount of debris and silt can be removed by it but it is extremely expensive, which is why it gets a 4-star rating. Since this is an extremely expensive item, I'll only consider purchasing it if it lasts a very long time. There are other reviews in which it is said the product is poorly made and falls apart easily. As long as there are complainers, there will be. This vacuum and the mesh bag it comes with are both made in the United States. It would be great to be able to purchase both bags when buying this product! If you are looking for a way to remove sand and silt, this is it. Please accept my sincerest apologies.
Designed to go with the Catfish pool cleaner, this little bag allows you to carry it around easily. It works just like a regular vacuum for your pool, I think. It came with this little bag to go with it. This one is for picking With it, you can get larger items in the bag that comes with it. It is the bag that we use the most often. We always have this one with us. Many of the items in the pool seem fine at first glance, but over time they can start to build up and become a problem. My kids and I love this machine. I've gotten many compliments on An above ground pool with a 5 foot depth is available for me. You'll be surprised how well it works. I received it as expected and the packaging was neat. Buying from this company in the future will be a good decision.
You will need them no matter what. To pick up the silt, I also cut the top off a nylon knee hi and used it to prop it up. It works great!.
Because of our well water that is high in iron, we bought this. The bottom of the pot was covered with brown silt after adding iron out. It left the pool spotless and lived up to my expectations following two cleanings.
It wasn't powerful enough to do much and the suction area wasn't big enough to do much. As a result of the vacuum bag's size, the bag can only hold a small amount of dust before it needs to be emptied, making the task of cleaning the pool an extremely lengthy one.
Smaller particles such as sand are easier to pick up with this.
The vacuum works very well. At first I was hesitant to buy this type of vacuum. We live in the SoCal desert with a lot of dirt and mesquite trees around us and lots of bugs so I vacuum every day for 45 minutes every night and cover the pool each Usually I can vacuum 2 on a single charge, but sometimes a bit more. I would highly recommend buying this vacuum.
