Questions & Answers

Do you know if this pool pump will fit my 14000 gallon BestWay ?

You may be able to use it depending on how the hoses are connected. There is one 12'x30' Summer Waves pool and it is attached to a shed. I was able to use this pump even though it has a 25-inch opening. The threading tape and hose adapters I bought had to be purchased. The solution worked to my surprise. My name is Melissa and I'm 37. I'm not that handy, but I can put together mine. On YouTube, there was a video that had step-by-step Also, you may want to take a look on YouTube.

Are there any hoses included in this?

2) 1. It does indeed come with it. The hoses have screw fittings and are 5" in diameter.

Is there a plunger valve included with this product. The upgrades that I received with the purchase of this item were previously purchased as an upgrade, but they do not appear to be listed as included with How are you?

In fact, I am almost positive this product came with plunger valves, but I had to order Adaptor B Item # 10722 (3 of them) and Item # 10849 (1) in order to get it to work with

This pump is designed to work on pools with skimmer pumps located at the bottom. Will it work?

This is what I am doing too converting to this aquarium, I am just going to plug the hole from the motor and keep the skimmer on and use the double filter if I am able to, if not I will use the single filter. In my research, I found that it can be done with this type of pump. Scroll down and look at one of the photos above to see how the skimmer is still attached to their

From a 1000GPH pump, this is an upgrade worth considering
4/5

Has to be plugged into an adapter. A 1000 GPH OEM Intex pump that died after three years of use was replaced with this pump. It is generally better to have a larger pumping capacity. Instead of the popular and more powerful 2500 GPH model, which uses the B filter, I decided to use this one since I had a bunch of A/C filters lying around. It's best to just go with the 2500 if you don't have a lot of filters. Despite the higher price, it is not a big deal. To me, it was unclear whether or not adapters were necessary. It doesn't seem as if anyone has a photo of the other side of the object. A picture I saw showed it sort of like that, and it looked to me like there was a smaller connection within My photo is at the top of this post. It turned out that these smaller sections were too long for the smaller hoses I had. Instead of adapters, I used this smaller section instead. My order for the 1 was placed. There is a 25 to 1 margin. Adapter set for 5 inch type B hoses. A set of 2 adapter sets for 5 inch type B hoses. Pumps with larger hoses are included with the new models. The plunger valve that everyone is referring to To my mind it is worth the effort, even if it isn't necessary. It has a photo that I added to a product review on there so that you can see how it connects to your pool, though some people connect it directly to their pool You can use it to turn a handle and cut off water at both the inlet and outlet. This allows you to change filters with less water loss and, if needed, to replace hoses. A further benefit is the connection creates a 90 degree angle, this appears to decrease tension on the soft pool side. The connection is also less prone to bending. Unlike a light eye, the timer does not use a light. In terms of turning on on a daily basis, I think you just set a time to turn it on. When running, the pump and housing sound as loud as ever , but it does not sound any louder when it is in use . It looks as if it is going to die any second. It is still worth it to me for the next three years if it lasts that long. As you might have noticed, the amount of water coming from the outlet is definitely different. It is a good pump, all in all.

You can use this method once you have all the right attachments for your smaller pools
5/5

The swimming pool with a pump system that I bought a while back, and the skimmer mount that I purchased with it, was a 12x30 Intex. I hadn't had any success configuring the skimmer after connecting it. (Or at least not enough to do its job) The skimmer did not have the necessary suction. Even though I shut off second hose intake and changed its connection to another intake, I was not able to get the machine to start. As I was watching YouTube videos to figure out what I was doing wrong, one guy finally explained what I needed to hear - don't throw your money away. This was the result of the pool pump not being strong enough to handle It was then that I bought this pool pump, which In case you don't know - and this is super This pump is for a pool that is SMALLER than what it is designed for (like my 12x30). If you purchase it for that size pool, you will ALSO need to purchase By converting 25" to 1, you gain one inch. Hose adapter 2-in-1 for Type B hoses with 5" diameter Pack a bag. You're good to go as soon as you have those. In addition, this pump does not work with the rotatable jet that comes with it as it has too much capacity for a smaller pool Keeping the regular one connected is all you need to do. It still took me a few minutes to plug/close my second hose intake to the pump to get the skimmer sucking hard enough to be effective, but now everything works perfectly! In either case, you do not need to upgrade your pump size if you are not using a skimmer.

I used it without a problem for our Summer Waves Pool! We offer a better pump, which is also cheaper than replacing the pump! The SFX1000 pump went out after the Summer Waves pump
5/5

Just the cost of a new motor was outrageous, almost the same as the cost of the pool. Based on my research, I found people were using it in their swimming The product was not only exclusive to the Intex brand. It cost almost half as much as other brands. In addition, a stronger pump will be needed. This is the right route to take! As the hoses were all the same size, we were able to hook them up with little difficulty. The weight of the output hose was heavier than the old one, so we added some zip ties for additional.

It will be necessary for you to use adapters! I recently bought the pump, and so far it has worked as required
5/5

In reality, I'm posting this just to counter someone's incorrect answer about adapters above. For some reason, Amazon has a pretty high price for them, but Intex has a pretty reasonable one (plus shipping). *) These are 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" adapters, and you need two. The adapter B (With Two Pack) is part number #10722C and costs The Intex Kit Pool Maintenance Kit (Item #58958E $9) I also purchased, is top quality, it includes a telescoping arm with 3 lengths, a bottom vacuum, and hooks up to the hose. I am very satisfied with this purchase. The following should be taken into account Item # 28002E looks identical but costs more than 3 times as much! In my experience, shipping was less than $8 for both products (the adapters were included in the skimmer kit).

Great product - highly recommended This is a highly recommended book! Our company bought an inflatable ring that was 15 feet wide, quickly A set pool would not be adequate if it came with an inadequate pump
5/5

Reviewing several options and reading many reviews, I came up with a few options. wasn't sure if I should purchase a pump that would cost nearly as much as the pool, but it turned out to be worth the investment. There's nothing not to like about this pump. A fast and easy way to set it up Quick and easy set up, intuitive operation, and powerful enough to circulate water in a tank. The vacuum is able to provide excellent suction. As you can see, the standard 1 is used here. The hose connections will be 5 inches, so if your pool uses a slightly smaller hose, you will need to purchase It works beautiful and I bought two of the Intex Adapter B (also on Amazon). To my sister, who owns the same pool, I have recommended this pump, and anyone else in the same situation would be wise to buy it as well.

You got a good deal there! Great! This works like a charm! I think this one is better than the one that came with the pool! With it we constructed an above ground pool 18' x 48" round by Coleman (Bestway)
5/5

In addition to 2 hoses and an inlet, it comes with a new kit that I didn't realize when I ordered. The new inlet is not aerating. It circulates the water more effectively since it includes an aerating feature. I'm glad we switched it out despite not having to because it would have worked just as well.

There is a separate charge for adapters
3/5

I found the bigger pump to be an improvement over the compact one that came with my pool. However, I found it a bit disappointing to discover that hose adapters were separate purchases. Inclusion of these items in the box would make a big difference to customer service rather than leaving them out and angering people. I recommend buying the hose adapters along with this pump if you intend to use the smaller pump and hoses. Other than that, the pump is working as it should.
