Ultimately, we decided that a sand filter was the best solution. According to the instructions, we did everything correctly. Before hooking it up to the pool, we went over them several times. It all got hooked up and we turned it on, but now it leaks on EVERYTHING! It was taken apart, and we checked to make sure all the gaskets were in place, and all the hoses were connected properly, but it did not help. There are still water bursts coming out of it as if it were originally designed to do so. We haven't been able to use our pool this summer for a variety of reasons. Bestway has never made a product that I would like to buy again! It isn't a good idea for you to!.

To start, let me say that I'm not a mechanical person, so this took many more tries than it would for someone who knows their way around a toolbox. I relied heavily on YouTube videos to help me with my pool and sand pump installations. The instructions for Bestway products are not detailed enough. The rubber gaskets in my pump were missing, so it leaking horribly out of two ports until I realized they were missing. As a result of my contact with Bestway, they immediately shipped out the gaskets, and my computer works perfectly now. My 1500 gallon pool uses less energy and the water flows well. This machine does not have a timer, and you must use a rubber fuel hose to do a backwash.

In an attempt to save time and money on filter replacement, I wanted a larger pump for my small pool that was quieter and more efficient than continually changing We put in pool sand into this product and flushed it a couple of times before concluding that it exceeded our expectations. There have been no backwashing chores in over a month, and the water is crystal clear. I have found it relatively quiet in comparison to other pumps of this size but it can still be heard clearly enough to recognize if something changes in the sound that appears to be incorrect.

Didn't filter it properly. You should not go there! We upgraded to this filter from our Best Way pool because the pump that came with it In the same way, this was awful. Despite its clean appearance, it was incapable of sucking in dirty water or debris from even an inch away. Vacuuming was also not possible for her. As well as not circulating the water, the system did not maintain the water's temperature. While you could see water coming out of the output, it was not enough to move the water, so it stayed stagnant. I hate the way money is spent. Get a real pool if you're willing to put in the effort. A highway robbery took place here. The more time I spent on this, the more I spent trying to keep it To fix the useless pump, thousands of dollars are spent on chemicals.

Most of the instructions on how to assemble this are vague or very confusing pictures with little to no written directions. Putting it together was a long and tedious task for my son and me. As far as I can tell, the hoses do not fit the included nozzle pieces for in-line applications I'm going out/going out Water flows around the pool in a continuous pattern. As for the clamps, they don't do anything to secure the hoses. The hoses are much larger, and the clamps are plastic. Until then, I can't tell you what it does, since I need to wait until my hardware store opens on Monday to see if I can find something adaptable to make it I will return this product if it does not meet my expectations!.

An inflatable pool measuring 9 feet long could be filled with this. I had to figure out which hose went to what part of the pool for a few minutes. The plug that came with the filter is as large as my outdoor outlet with cover, so I have to plug in an extension cord to use it. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase as I do not have to search for filters as water is filtered with sand, which I purchased from Lowe's. I will be replacing my hoses this summer because they are clear plastic and will deteriorate in the hot weather.

Reviewers have given it good reviews, so I decided to give it a try. Many people say that the leaking occurs everywhere because their tubing connecting to the irrigation system and filter does not seal. A number of reasons made Bestway think it would be wise to use It would be sealed with an O-ring and this tubing to prevent water from leaking. The opposite is true. This is an easy fix that costs very little. Put some plumbers tape on all connections before you tighten the clamps. As far as I can tell, my pool remains There is some sand blown out with this, but it is not excessive. If the cost of purchase is the same as the cost of ownership, I'll be fine.

purchased this item because the paper filter that came with the pool would block up and do not clean out the pool properly. Our pool was therefore hazy and green constantly. The water became crystal clear as soon as this setup was installed and let run over night. A flow rate of approximately 130 gallons per minute seems adequate for this size swimming The purchase was fantastic and I am overjoyed with it.
