Zodiac Pool Systems R0527800 Cleaner Hose for Swimming Pool

I only have two things to say. First and foremost, I am dissatisfied with the hoses' quality and UV resistance. The simple act of slowly pulling on the hose to move the cleaner after it has been around a year causes the hoses to separate, unwinding on each spiral twist of the PVC from which they are made. Second, I was fortunate in that I purchased this twelve (12) pack rather than a single unit. The entire set of original hoses seemed to give out once one was unraveled. I had to replace five (5) of the original hoses because they had come unraveled within the first three weeks of receiving this package. So, while buying in bulk saved me about $2 per hose, I shouldn't be using this many. The quality isn't up to par. br>br>Not only is the PVC insufficiently durable to withstand prolonged UV exposure, but the assembly is also of poor quality. I had one of these brand new replacement hoses break apart because the connectors were hot glued to the hose and the hose wasn't properly seated in the glue. I had to pry the glue out of the connector with a very small screwdriver before reassembling it with my own glue gun. I didn't bother to ask for a refund because of the poor quality of the product. It would have cost me more than my time. br>br>To summarize, these are genuine replacement parts for your MX6 or MX8, but they are of inferior quality to the originals. These are suitable for use with a Zodiac. Later on, when you're looking for a new cleaner, you can use the knowledge you've gained.

There are no stars at all. DO NOT BUY IT IS A SCAMbr>In the reviews, everyone claimed to have received 12 pieces of 1 meter tubing. One was sent to me recently. I'm not sure why I'd pay $130 for a single item. A total of 12 pieces are included in the picture.

These were purchased to replace the sun-dried (and brittle) hoses that came with the zodiac pool cleaner MX-100. br>Because they are from the manufacturer, they are identical to the original. I just wish these hoses lasted longer than a year and a half in the Florida sun, especially considering how much they cost. br>Apart from that, it's a good buy.

These are exactly what I was looking for. Just keep in mind that they'll need to be replaced every other year or so, especially if they're exposed to the sun frequently. The sun and chlorine cause the plastic to degrade.

It only took a few minutes to replace the hose sections, and the pool cleaner was up and running again without sucking air into the pool pump. br>br>By purchasing this multi-use item, you will be able to save a lot of money. I also saved money by purchasing the hoses in bulk rather than buying them separately.

In 15 months, the sun in Arizona rotted and cracked my old set. As a result, I've decided to swap them out. I like how the hoses can be locked in place. And since 6 segments are sufficient for a 30k gallon pool, the 12 segments included in this set should last 3 years or so.

These work great and were a lot less expensive than what my pool guy wanted to charge. There are 10 spare sections after replacing the two broken ones.
