The items were just about to be returned to the store. There is a Zodiac MX8 in my possession. I am appalled by the Zodiac hoses. Pool stores often charge $28 a piece and we need about 8 to 10 sections, which is what I was offered by the place I bought it. Put the math to the test. They were on sale for a low price, but In order to return, I started the process. It turns out that Zodiac sells an adapter I was able to do it. Now that I have more reasonable priced hoses for my pool vacuum, it is working great. It is this product that you should look at if you have a zodiac but don't want to spend a lot of money. The connections will hopefully be illustrated by photographs. A leaf catcher adapter is inserted into the new hoses and into the leaf catcher.

I totally agree that they are compatible with my old hoses that are Besides the Zodiac Barracuda pool cleaner, I use these as well. My pool store charged me $13 for each section of hose I bought. This set of hoses is much lower in price but is still of the same high It does not appear that they will be fragile and seems as though they will hold up nicely. It is important to replace additional sections of my existing hose, as they are falling apart and I need to replace them.

In addition to what several reviewers have noted, the female end of the hose has an inside diameter too small to fit many 1-inch tubing sizes. Stainless steel appliances for swimming pools measure 1/2". The vacuum head of a Milliard vacuum cleaner, for instance, cannot even fit in that section. There should be a mention of the adapter in the description, unless it are common knowledge that you will need one (which I suspect it won't be). Since this does not occur, I am taking one star off. There is a statement in the description that states "compatible with all equipment from all major manufacturers. A suction port measuring 12 inches in diameter. That's for sure not the case.

The following update has been republished I am very pleased with the pool hose! Thanks a lot for the adapter! Everything is fine now! I would recommend it to anyone. It says it is compatible with all major automatic swimming pool cleaners but it is not. The quality of the hose is good, but I am giving it 2 stars because it is not compatible with all. It is not compatible with the Zodiac MX6 I have. My mistake may have been in my looking at the picture of the item, or in thinking the piece would fit onto the MX6 while the rest would simply fit into each other differently than the However, this is not the case. As noted in my review, I am currently in the process of purchasing the adapter and testing this pool hose since the zodiac pool hose is four times the cost. I will update this review when I receive the adapter and have tested.

Here's an update. The one thing to stay away from is that I wasn't even contacted after the first review, which is after only 2 months. My one hose sprung a leak, and I was only able to use three I will wait for a response from the sellers to see if they will replace it, assuming they do not, I will retun them all.

In order to keep my pool clean, I had to replace some worn hose sections on the Kreepy Krawler. It doesn't fit the Krawler, so replacement hoses aren't available. I used one of the worn hoses I had to fit the Kreepy since I had four of the worn ones. I do not know what to say about the Milliard hoses, other than that caveat.

My inground pool is too long for these, so I bought these so I could reach one end. I am amazed at how quickly Amazon Prime delivered these packages (in just two days! )The pool hose extensions fit my other hose connectors perfectly, although they are a bit tight when connected I prefer the thinner and less flexible plastic of my other ones, but this is a great product for the first time.
