Can you tell me the thread size of the fittings (Pitch)?

The standard 2" trash pumps have this problem, but I don't know if it is unique

Is this water belt capable of enduring a lot of pressure?

As far as the maximum pressure is concerned, I don't know. My pumping experience is positive, so far I have had no problems with the hose. I have used the pumping many times, and there have been no problems yet.

Can you tell me how heavy the hose is?

The hose is made of thick walled material, and the connectors are solidly constructed. Hoses such as this one tend to last for many years to come.

How does the green color of this hose look like?

My experience has not been positive.

The quality is superior to that of the average

In comparison to other flimsy hoses you see at stores, this hose is definitely better and more reinforced. As well as solid fittings, the fixtures are also very well designed. The pump is for use with a 3500gph submersible pump to keep my pool from flooding if need be. In the month since we moved into our new home, I did have to use it once and it worked like a charm to drain our The backwash hoses I have seen cost much more but are much higher quality. Considering the price, this should last a long time. It offers a great deal for the price.

There should only be VERY light duty

A portable hose, not a permanent one. This fall, I used it a few times without incident, however, when I moved it this winter, it was frayed in many places (holes in the fabric). This is a very lightweight tent (the cover is like a cheap pickup tarp), and it seems not to be able to handle cold weather. I suggest storing it inside your house if you live in the south or in a place with low temperatures rather than an outdoor shed - I could have prevented the destruction that I encountered if I had done that. My experience with this product did not last for long, so I am not recommending it for long-term use.
