I just got mine, and I believe all of the strips are supposed to be white at first until they come into contact with water. Is there anyone who can verify?

That was my thought as well. Two pale yellow and two pale orange tabs make up my set. When they come into contact with water, they all turn the colors that are expected, and they appear to be correct.

Test Strips for Frogs Are Effective! Frog is the only way to go with bromide in my hot tub after trying a bunch of test strips! I'm pretty sure Frog gets their strips from somewhere else, but they're better calibrated to bromide than any other strips I've tried

Hmmm . Anyway, I installed an ozone generator and went from changing the water in my spa every two months to every five months, using a seventh of the chemicals.

I'm not sure how accurate they are; the colors appear to match more than one on the chart, so it may or may not be in range.

Unfortunately, even when I have several bromine tablets in the floater, this does not show any reading of bromine (white, zero shown)

Test strips seemed like a better option

Nope. I couldn't read the pH results because they didn't match any of the colors on the result chart. I bought another brand of test strips and the results were all inconsistent. I think I'll go back to the old fashioned testing kit once my return is processed.

OTHER TEST STRIPS ARE UNABLE TO READ THE FROG SYSTEM'S LOWER LEVELS. A COMPLETELY REQUIRED PIECE OF EQUIPMENT.

On the strip, there is no "free chlorine" test

These aren't like the other Frog test strips I have because they have a water hardness reading instead of a free chlorine reading. As a result, I will not purchase these again. They require a free chlorine reading urgently. This product and purchase left me disappointed.
