The majority of the strips are similar in content. You are paying a premium for a well-known brand. I don't think the expensive strips are worth it for something you're going to dip and toss.
I live in southern Baja, Mexico, where the weather is similarly hot, and they seem to be holding up well.
All of the strips are viewable and have different expiration dates, but they should all last at least a year.
It's in a plastic salt jar I purchased from my Hot Springs Spa dealer. I'm sure it's available on the internet, but I haven't checked.

When we submerge the test strip in water, the chemicals on it dissolve. According to the guidelines, Immerse strip in water for 2 seconds, then remove with pads facing up and shake once to remove excess water before reading. The chemical pad on the strip falls off in less than two seconds. We won't be able to use them. Make sure you don't throw your money away.
We found these to be the best test strips for maintaining our hot tubs, but Watkins decided to reduce the size of the color chart on the bottle to the point where it is almost unreadable for some inexplicable reason. Why would a company make a product that is more difficult to use than before? To increase the amount of chemicals they can sell? We're now on the lookout for a brand with a readable side chart.
If you follow the instructions exactly, these strips are fantastic. Remove the strip from the water after two seconds, give it a quick tap, and read it right away. If the little pads are left in the water for too long, they will lose their color. The color grid on the bottle, which is printed to very high standards, can easily be compared to these strips. In addition, the pH reading is consistent with bottled water. tests on liquids Although I haven't done any comparison tests, I assume the four other readings (which are more difficult to check with liquid tests) are also correct. br>br>It's critical to quickly open and close the bottle, as well as to remove the strip with dry hands. The strips will change color if they are exposed to humid air for an extended period of time. I have no reservations about recommending this product.
These are by far the best strips I've come across. They cover every aspect of basic chemistry that you should be aware of on a regular basis. They're simple to read, with ranges for both regular and salt water chemistry. Because I'm slightly colorblind and they can't test total chlorine or CYA, I double-check their results once or twice a month with an actual drop test set. They've always been right on the money.
Everything went smoothly, and there were no problems!.
This is the best for my HotSprings spa and does an excellent job of keeping the water exactly where it should be for a salt water spa.
It was the name of the brand that they carried in their shops. It was much cheaper on here, and it appears to be of comparable quality to the product they sold. We're pleased with it and have added it to our list of things to subscribe to and save.
When I bought my spa, it came with this tester. When I ran out of test strips, I purchased a different brand, which I used for about four months. 5 times before tossing them out and replacing them with these. This is the test strip I prefer for its ease of use and readability.
